Euro Truck Simulator 2 - a pleasant surprise
Hurlshort replied to IndiraLightfoot's topic in Computer and Console
It piqued my interest, but I never played the original, and continuity is extremely important me. What if I miss an important backstory about an engine block? -
It looks intriguing. I like that people keep comparing the combat to Xcom, although it sounds like it isn't on the same level. I'll give it a whirl when I get home.

Folks, you need to get your priorities in order. Is it really more important to you to see Ubisoft fail than it is to see Obsidian succeed? Because you refusing to buy South Park because of the publisher is going to hit the developer a heck of a lot harder than anyone else. I dislike Ubisoft's DRM policies as much as many of you, but I'm not willing to throw Obsidian under the bus to make my point.

You mean Death Race 3? well good ending to the trilogy started by jason statham I did mean 3. It was a pretty satisfying wrap up of the whole Death Race story. Definitely a guilty pleasure. Maybe they will feature 14k as the lead in Death Race 4. That guy was pretty awesome.

I'm mostly annoyed that Uplay is often redundant. If I buy a game on Steam, I am already going through a DRM check, using a key, logging in, etc. It is super annoying to have to do it again when I start up a Ubisoft product.

Ubisoft's online verification system. It's like Origin or Steam for Ubisoft games. I think it only applies to PC gamers.
-
Ubisoft is a major publisher, so this might actually be good for the South Park game and Obsidian as a developer. They know how to advertise, that's for sure. Personally I cringe at the idea of having to use Uplay. Maybe I'll buy it on the PS3 instead.

Southpark to Ubisoft: I'm a bit upset about this. I really don't want to use Uplay. Maybe we will get lucky and they will just stick to Steamplay? Still, I'm very happy it was picked up by a major publisher. That's good for Obsidian.

I haven't played it in the last few weeks. I'm probably going to wait until the expansion comes out.

The video for Elder Scrolls Online looked great. But really, their games always look great. I'm not sure what it is about ES games that keeps my interest for a dozen hours and then peters out, but maybe making it a more social experience will help with that. I'm not super excited about it, but I'll give it a try when it comes out.

That pretty much sums up my feeling on the last Indy movie.

actually im not really sure i get it? is it cause they are asking what kind of junky collectible bit to include in DA 3 collectors editions? Maybe he doesn't like the picture?

Don't you think it would be more more effective to send peaceful troops armed with flowers? Maybe they can use those guns that shoot t-shirts, then the violent extremists will be all like "Oooh! I want a T-shirt! Let's stop fighting and give up our territory!"

Kind of the way I feel as well, I heard SupCom was fantastic, but I'm not an RTS fan. The action RPG's they've done did little for me. This isn't really a storied developer like the folks from Black Isle and Sierra.

I watched Death Race 2 and then started on Death Race 2. They are oddly mesmerizing in a B Movie sort of way.

Ugh, soda. I try not to have a soda more than once or twice a month. The main issue is cost and time. It is pretty cheap to take a family of four to McDonalds and feed them. It is expensive to eat healthy, or it takes a lot of time to make food from scratch. It took me four hours to make a stromboli for a football party yesterday. Making the dough, letting it rise, putting all the fresh ingredients together, then cooking it. It also cost me about $15 in ingredients. Now I can take that money and go buy something from the frozen food aisle, stick it in the oven or microwave, and have it done in no time for probably half the cost. But it will be loaded with way more salt and other junk that isn't fresh. Of course mine tasted a lot better too

Smoking numbers have dropped tremendously in the last 30 years. They have leveled off in the last decade at about 20 percent, but that is still a huge decrease.

Some Vet was telling me that she once had a cat brought in that was 27. But typically cats live around 10-15 years. Melk I would not feel guilty about the cat that disappeared. Some cats are just like that, it sounds like she was close to ten years old. She probably knew something was wrong and preferred to wander off to be alone for her last moments. It is very common for cats to do that.

My cat passed away last night. She was about 13 years old and had been getting weaker over the last year, so it wasn't a big surprise. I hope she wasn't in much pain, she went quietly in her sleep. We had a nice burial ceremony for her out in the back yard. My daughter made her a necklace with some flowers and a drawing.

Medical really. It wasnt healthy for my wife to continue on her birth control. We dont plan on having more kids, so it is a pretty common choice to make.

Oh, is there any way to change my guys voice? He sounds ridiculous. Maybe I should change my college to an ivy league?

Just local anesthesia. It is really weird to have a guy working for an hour down there, but I guess ladies go through that regularly. They gave me some decent painkillers for after, but so far I only used one to help me sleep. The only evidence is one stitch and a bit of swelling.

In 12 weeks I have to turn in a sample. Thats pretty much it.

Shooting guard. Originally I was a point guard with all around skills, but I restarted as a shooter with focus on 3's. I'm on the ps3.

Back home with a bag of ice between my legs. It was easy enough, but the burning smell was pretty unsettling. oh and I have no idea how people go about normally on valium, I was loopy.
