I haven't started watching Rings of Power yet. I've been too busy watching Chimp Crazy, which is the new Tiger King. edit: Although I'm already seeing stories about how it's going to get cancelled because not enough people are watching. I don't understand this stuff. Isn't the point of streaming that we don't need to sit down and watch it at a certain time on a certain night? Why are they still assessing streaming titles like this? Shouldn't it be based on subscribers and views over a longer period of time? Honestly I wasn't even planning on watching until all the episodes are out. Seems odd that that would impact their ratings negatively.

The tough part in the US is each city, county, and state is really operating separately. So you might have a city that gets its act together and has decent bike paths, but as soon as you hit the city limits, the county takes over and it is a totally different organization. They rarely work well together, either.

The bike lanes are my favorite part of this trip.

That is a surprise! I did watch the whole, non director's cut of Rebel Moon and thought it was fine. It had some good parts. I only got a few minutes into the 2nd film, so I can't really say anything about it. On a related note, I did not like Furiosa nearly as much as Fury Road. I thought there was too much exposition. But I also watched Fury Road in theaters and Furiosa at home, and I think that made a difference.

Hah, my dad told me the same thing. He said I'm basically inviting my neighbors to complain to me about everything. As a middle school teacher, I do have a pretty high threshold for patience, so hopefully that will help. I appreciate all of the support.

Yes. I know a decent chunk at this point, so hopefully that helps. The HOA is run by some corporation, so the transparency kinda sucks. They keep scheduling meetings for 1:00 PM on Wednesdays and I'm like, don't people need to work to pay for these townhomes? Homeowners Association. It is more likely to sink than it is to hover.

I applied to be on my HOA board, since I have no idea what is happening with it and I figure that is a good way to stay in the loop. There are 2 spots and 4 candidates running. I am the only one who wrote up a candidate statement. We will see if that hurts or helps. Yay democracy!

Phil Donahue passed away the other day at 88. The crazy thing is he was only 40 when he was doing his talk show back in the 80's and 90's. I just remember being a kid and thinking he was so old, but now I'm at the age where I could pass as a wizened talk show host.

Conan Exiles is releasing some hero companions with backstories and quests in October, so I've been building a bit. They are also supposed to be updating the whole NPC system so they seem more lively.

I have been working my way through The Clone Wars. I just started season 4 and it has been a fun ride. I plan on jumping into Bad Batch after that.

It's not really a dream team scenario anymore, as countries have caught up in sports like Basketball. Sure, the US has a lot of depth, but Serbia had the best player this year.

Sure, it doesn't make all of your stuff smell bad, and hopefully the 2nd-hand effects are a lot less devastating, but it is still harmful chemicals in your lungs. As to them being better than fermented beverages, I'd like to see that study. The reality is most people have a few drinks a week. I doubt you can find many vapers that take a few hits a week, so the amount of consumption s going to be vastly different. Sure, vaping is probably safer than being a full blown alcoholic, but that doesn't mean it compares favorably to having a glass of wine with dinner.

I'd say he's super exclusive. He doesn't care what color your skin is as long as you can feed his ego.

Yeah, smoking is messed up. My grandmother has emphysema and it was miserable for her final years. I'm pretty worried about what is going to happen to all these young people who are vaping. I get the feeling that in a couple decades we are going to start to see some horrific side effects.

He has always been about the politics, though. Or rather, he has always been about power consolidation, whether it is in business or politics. Not that it excuses his actions and words, but it does all go a bit deeper than just 'racism' when it comes to Trump. I'd almost say it is more dangerous that isn't just hatred that motivates him.

In his pseudo-defense, I do think for Trump it is less about the color of a person's skin and more about winning over his racist base. So maybe Trump isn't racist, he just does a lot of racist things.
