no they are only mild sedatives - although the heavy hitters in that catagory - you won't feel the worst headache with those babies.. but anything above that is only slightly affected.. I was on them as well for awhile.. but like you they didn't have much of an effect on me either.. morphine on the other hand.. phew!

It's aging a bit .. but it was very ahead of it's time when it came out.. I don't know how much you'll enjoy it if you haven't played it before.. but give it a try! (if you can borrow it or something)

I usually play Shinari as well .. I love their manipulator gun (whatever it's called)

that takes me back.. as the evening grew darker and the beers emptier .. the game just became better and better.. although a bit less coherent and much more confusing.. but hey - it was fun! ^_^ nothing like 5 lvl 15 people (of different allignment) starting arguing about stuff only to eventually turn on each other and lay ruin to whatever city (or area) they are in..

The worst I've experienced was in march last year.. when I had a skiing accident.. I was in the hospital for a week, but initially they thought I wouldn't be able to walk for about 6 months.. But after 3 days (2 of them in ICU) I needed a cigarette so bad I just got up and walked out to have a smoke - and then I was emitted 4 days later.. showed them! ^_^ otherwise the only illness I've had that required medication was an ear infection.. no broken bones (or even a serious strain) - no bad teeth - no serious diesease *knocks on wood* I think it's because of my years of living alone (and unhealthy) while still doing alot of sports.. strong body, strong immune system! ^_^

Well a good writer can tell you what triggers to push .. I personally believe it's a matter of staying on the course and let the reader/player/viewer slowy get involved and invest more and more emotions in a certain plotline - which you then bring to a climax and then the person seeing it will do the rest.. cry/laugh/whatever.. because the best stories imo build up over a some time and then deliver at the crucial moment where you are dying to know what will happen.. or are least expecting it!

I guess this is where I say that I never had Wisdom teeth (they are simply not there) so I'll never have to experiance the horrors you've been through.. muhahahahahah!!! (I love my body)

I know.. I still have them.. ^_^ which is why I always installed a patch - the constant switching was getting annoying.. (also does anyone else thinks there's an awful big resemblance between the Kra'hen and Drengin? :ph34r: )

hehe.. yeah he is kinda gay (although they didn't need to change the subtitles to prove that) .. they should've just shown the bathing scene.. Is he generally unpopular? I thought it added something very important when he was introduced.. especially with his behaviour!

I played that alot back when I had Windows 98 installed.. but wasn't it turnbased like GalCiv? I remember it like that.. great game though, really ahead of it's time.

I've been playing GC2 for quite a while now.. and I fully recommend it, especially since they are releasing the new expansion soon (Dark Avatar) .. which will fix alot of the complaints the fans of GC2 had.. But one of the best parts of the game is designing your own ships - I spend hours making my frigates look just how I want them! ^_^ (the graphics are better than in this shot - don't know why it's so blurry! - taken from their website www.galciv2.com)

Playing Galactic Civilizations II - The Dread Lords.. After a succesful skirmish against the Alterians I have turned my attention to the Iconian Refuge - their influence is growing and I can no longer ignore their presence.. So I have gathered a fleet of specially designed ships (just for them) .. since they have no defence against Lasers, but use them themselves. Just to be sure I have build alot of support ships, who utilize Missiles (and defend against them as well), if they should change their focus in weapons. The war will begin in two weeks.. (some of the details are lost in the JPGs, but I couldn't attach BMPs)

Happy Feet - The good outshines the bad .. It reminded me a bit of A.I. - But the ending was a really out of tune with the rest of the film imo, which made the film loose some points with me. Not a bad ending though, just kinda forced..
