Yeah me too and I think it's because Bioware titles were very very good at giving you the illusion of choice. I guess it's kinda like the uncanny valley - as Bioware titles has evolved we've started to notice all the small, but essentially immersion breaking mistakes - mistakes we would've missed/not cared about 10 years ago.

Yeah I never used them before and I basically won the game this time because of them - so I'll be skipping them in the future (or at least seriously tone down their use)..

Bought Alpha Centauri on GoG and have been conquering Planet as a green, democratic, knowledge oriented cybernetic society.. This game is effin awesome - after all these years I still find new strategies and features.

Well it's very northern Scandinavia - I almost feel at home (at least around the flat hills).

Danish, English, German and some French (lost my fluency some years ago), now I'm learning Arabic.. and it's actually not so difficult. (your 3 resident Danes are not a typical representation - most only speak 1 or 2 languages)

It's easily my favorite in the series and I still play it to this day.. The story/novel with Planet that pop up once in a while gets tedious after the 6th play through though.

Why does anyone even want that island? But yeah, Britain is right here - because the people on the island wants to remain with Britain.. Sean Penn just thought he was cool and hip by bashing the old Empire - nothing to get riled about. edit: aahh there's oil in the island.. that explains a lot.

It's actually pretty great and It is fixed, but you need the script extender so every time a new patch comes it takes a few days before it works properly again.

Yeah it sounds great on paper but in reality it's very unpractical - especially the fact that you exit the game completely every time you finish a server. The whole system seems very rushed - of course Steam has the advantage of having existed for much longer and have gone through many stages.. it was a steaming pile of poo (pun not intended) when it was released 10 years ago too.

He is one of my absoulte favorite composers (for movies).. I hope he plays a big role in the ME3 soundtrack.
