  1. Old thread here. I've been playing some more LA Noire, but having fun with a Danish regiment playing warband.. With 200 players in line battles etc. Pretty neat.
  2. Closed due to length, new thread here.
  3. Moved your post and the discussion of wether or not PC gaming is dead can be continued here.
  4. The Baby Burka Cat. ah.. Cats.. stuck in things.
  5. Managed, through the sheer brilliance of my now most awesome best friend and wingman, whom I love and shall always be indebted to.. To have 2 girls (1 of them the scratcher) fight over who would got to come home with me, took one and the number from the other.. These girls were so mindbogglingly out of my league that it's not even funny. I now feel invincible and in sore need of a reality check. But it doesn't stop there - as I was making my choice.. I had them both on each arm, staring each other down, while I was contemplating the inherent injustice of the universe and my extremely unfair luck.. when a third came over and asked (without looking at the girls) if I wanted to take her home.. My mind exploded in what can only be explained as an implosion of time and instant ego big bang.
  6. I had an awesome night, I wanna brag about it.. but I don't wanna seem like douche.. conflicted!
  7. It's much too late for that..
  8. and little Bornholm looking angry in the bottom left haha.. It's spot on. But I'm a bigger fan of Scandinavia and the World In reference to this bad boy
  9. I wouldn't give Bioschock 10/10 either, but I thought it was a pretty solid experience all things considered. Combat was fun, the story was at least original if a little convoluted, the art was really well done imo. From a purely FPS perspective it's a solid 9 for me.
  10. And here I thought Swedes were horrible at making TV and movies.. I've been watching this show "Âkta människor" or "Real Humans" .. Acting is surprisingly good, the story is a little soap but it works. Top notch Sci-Fi. I'm impressed. It's kinda the down to earth A.I about how free will in robots freaks us out.
  11. Couldn't read it - so I found I better resolution for you.
  12. So I decided to make another try and got 10905, the real reason was I recognized I was in Finland on the first picture and got within 50km (by luck) which gave me almost 6000 points. In nr 2, South Africa tricked me yet again.. 3+4 were both indistinct South American places, my only lead was Spanish and jungle.. So it had to be the upper ones.. Wrong, it was Portuguese and in Brazil! damn!! Nr 5 I was determined to beat and when I saw a sign for Ft. Nelson I knew it was somewhere in Canada. Then followed a 20min search on the map hehe. I saw a sign for Whitehorse and I knew that was in British Columbia, unfortunately it was 1500km off.. damn you roadsigns.
  13. Haha ok fair enough.
  14. Great for staring out the window when you're having dem feels.
  15. Man, I don't know.. I'm gonna change my mind 15 times before I'm done and a few times after that as well.. of course I should pick Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd (DARK SIDE!!), Michael Jackson, Johnny Cash, Leonard Cohen, Beatles, The Doors, The Who, Queen, Beastie Boys and so on.. But I'll go with what I've heard the most, since that's gotta be a better indicator of what I consider great.. right? 1. Bon Iver - Emma, Forever Ago 2-3.Kashmir - Cruzential or Zitilites.. Tough choice, **** it I'll take both 4. Kings of Convenience - Riot on an Empty Street 5. Counting Crows - Live Across The Wire 6. Django Reinhardt - eh.. 'Jazz in Paris' if I had to make a choice, but basically all of them. 7. Jeff Buckley - Grace 8. Coldplay - Parachutes 9. Cliff Martinez - Solaris Soundtrack 10.. I'll get back to you on that.
  16. Pretty much yeah. But it does work - history is full of examples, just not on large scale.
  17. It still remembered me from last time (which was over a year ago I think).. pretty cool. also:
  18. Playing L.A Noire again because I want to finish it.. But every good or great part of the game is mirrored with a stupid or frustrating part. I like.. But also kinda hate..
  19. Mix the idea of the colllective with Aristotles idea of Eudaimonia and I think we'll have a good system.. Star Trek'sh even..
  20. Regretting I was a gentlemen last night, I think she wanted me to be a scoundrel heh.. you live you learn..
  21. But that's hardly something you should make broad generalizations over.. The majority of my male friends and acquaintances play PC games and the the rest play consoles. I think I know maybe 10-20 guys that don't own either. So based on my observations the marked must be absolutely booming
  22. That sucks man, do you still have your sense of smell? Because if that goes out of whack it could explain the loss of taste.
  23. Yep, except they are not hippies, but eco-punks - basically Punk Hipsters (don't tell them I said that)..
  24. A lot of my peripheral friends are vegans and animal rights activist and I have to say that a lot of their opinions are often distorted or taken out of context, as we also see somewhat here. Sure you'll no doubt find the air head fanatic that think we should all eat fallen fruit and that animal life is worth more than human life. But often for them the critique usually boils down to the mentality of some modern hunters and especially modern food production. As in we should never murder for sport and should never have animals suffer so horrible as they often do, to satisfy our need for cheap food. These opinions I can respect and agree with, but the staunch anti-hunting for the sake of it is of course stupid. So no, hunt away - but make sure that you do it with respect for the animal and do it for the hunt and meat, not for the sport of the kill. Would be my 2 cents. Besides if we didn't hunt the animals would overpopulate and get sick, nature needs prey and predators - we can just choose to be nice about it.
  25. Is that a lot? I think a friend of mine had almost 50 million.. I was more amazed that on average 8.2 million hours were played each day.. That's just insane.
