  1. Which is I think justification enough to at least allowing the option to receive unpainted versions. Hopefully Obsidian offers such options in the future.
  2. I'm reading Dune at the moment and really loving it. Not sure if I'll continue afterwards or not... part of me thinks not, but I see some people really love the later books. I've been warned not to read past 6 (Frank's last books), and that 4 is a better stopping point since 5&6 are an unfinished arc. Then some people argue just 1&2, 1-3, or stop after the 4th. The thing about Paul being a mary sue, it's really more about perception because every fiber of his being has been prepared to fill a very particular role. He's also not entirely without flaw and he's not exactly someone you'd want to step into the shoes of.
  3. I still find the dinosaurs very believable. I don't remember my initial take but I did think something about it was closer to the truth than it really was. I think the whole scientific dna video really sold the plausibility of it.
  4. The US needs to take a stance against the police-state cities that currently intern Uyghurs. It's not like we'll be in the diplomatic position to draw attention to it once we move into the process of healing the economic markets between the two countries. At least cast a wide spread light on the issue now so it can be in the minds of the people's of the world going forward.
  5. Every time I see a Megaman entry, I just think about Megaman X8, Megaman Zero 1-4 and Megaman ZX / Advent. It's so odd when series abandon all the strides in design that are made over the years. Same goes Symphony of the Night, or Metroid Fusion. Even during the "Metroidvania"-indie rebirth I only ever thought a few titles did justice to the medium. Now that fad is over and the space is still left empty.
  6. The true wristbands have a cable that runs down to an alligator clip that you attach to your case. But you don't need one as long as you ground yourself by touching your case to offload any static you've built up before touch a circuit board or further interacting with your computers internals. Plus mobos are quite sturdy and It's only the occasional misplaced spark that you really have to worry about.
  7. While I love how out there Kojima's aesthetic and style can get. It's ultimately going to be what the gameplay-loop looks like that really determines my interest in the game. At this point I've gotten the esoteric, things are not what they seem, occult-ngo-military complex thing a few times now from the man. Going bonker's all out will it in a fresh story structure still only manages to be a smallish selling point to me.
  8. Sometimes I think a lot of these journalist's are compulsive elitists. The ego and lack of preparation, lack of domain expertise, and the lack of integrity, it's just all so tiring and endlessly frustrating to have to navigate as the reader/watcher. It seems the modus operandi is "redact if caught." Another sad thing is that they use every mean negative comment to play the victim and drum up empathy of their flawed operations.
  9. This is awesome. Sadly it's probably another Agni's Philosophy. There is so much vision at Square it's a shame so little of it every escapes to be realized.
  10. Well, Telltale never evolved their technology. So I'm not surprised they found themselves in an unsustainable rut.
  11. That's a throwback. I can't believed I recalled all the lyrics down to the T.
  12. I don't even remember testis for RDR, I remember textured buttholes and a shadowy abyss for the nethers.
  13. A Diablo animated series is just so perplexing I can't even groan.
  14. Red Dead Redemption 2 can be played entirely with a First-Person Mode. Red Dead Online is stand-alone and separate from the core game. It focuses on morality and role-playing. https://www.polygon.com/2018/9/20/17876570/red-dead-redemption-2-gameplay-ps4-xbox-one-rockstar
  15. Not sure I'd be happy with current Blizzards take on Diablo 4. I think they've realized their err with 3, but I think a lot of the other facets that failed to grip the more hardcore audience mean little to them now. It's all about casting the widest net and enabling social play that goes viral among a young crowed with disposable free time.
  16. Ehh, you swim in the water you're born into. Capitalism, Communism, and Socialism are all used at ones own expense to mean a purist version or a hybrid version that lean primarily towards one bent. I think a good margin of Antifa people don't really know what they are fighting for, nor what they are fighting against. They're fights are often nebulous conflated ones where peace keepers of bystanders end up as their primary targets. At least this Antifa splinter is engaging in a peaceful at-will mutually beneficial trade rather than desecrating Berkeley Campus.
  17. Oh, so that was deep reaching into the heart-pockets of whales? Yikes.
