Lets say you're master vandar, you've got a Revan running around who doesn't know hes Revan and Malak pretty much taking systems at will. You and the council get together and consider all the options. At this point there seems to be few, so all you can do is meditate on it like any "spiritual" brother would do and concede to the will of the force. This explains what happens no matter which way you go LS/DS because its the will of the force. As a jedi your job is not to decide whats good and whats bad, but to carry out the "way" of the force and not let your ideas influence your decisions. To me this seems like the only plausable answer. What happen on Taris wasn't tactical I mean what military would send its "most effective weapon" (Bastilla) into enemy territory without the bulk of its forces there to protect it? Now later on in the game they just let you and Bastill run off even though to alot this would seem folly. Once again the will of the force and allowing it to happen instead of letting your own misconceptions hamper it.

The important thing is that they don't do anything really stupid. Like it the novels of the EU written after ROTJ, when Luke sets up hie academy and just happens "ignore" the fact that theres an ancient sith ghost around that just might try and corrupt his students. It would be cool to see some apparitions, but not at the expense of the plot, as previously done in the EU.

I would think that dual saber would be a form, since there would less ways that you could deviate considreing that two sabers would have a pretty high level of difficulty. One of the things that I really disliked about the old game, is that almost every other sith had two sabers, it really got watered down

I use my PC for school, I've got Word, two different encyclopedias, photoshop, about 600 albums, and I also use cakewalk for a little recordingand I have some short films on the hard drive. Simply I just don't have room for more then one game at a time and if I can get a game on XboX I usually do
