KOTOR II Wins Best RPG of the Year at G-Phoria
Laozi replied to Craigboy2's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I finally saw G-Phoria for the first time the other day, with a whole host of other shows on G4. Its strange to me that with only a few exceptions someone could foul up combining TV and video games. Its Turbo Graphics 16 all over again -
Thats probaly true, and best of all you're not calling for anything too irrational, like ninjas and pirates working together

Pixies U-Mass

Revan & the Exile's gender/alignment
Laozi replied to GhostofAnakin's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Well at the end of the game when facing Sion, or whatever, you basically nag him into wanting to die. I've seen kids who have this power, but no one over the age of 14 who wasn't a woman, the evidence speaks for itself. Plus after playing through as both, the female story just seemed a little better done. -
Revan & the Exile's gender/alignment
Laozi replied to GhostofAnakin's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I'm not all that attached to either character, and there for I am pretty neutral towards there gender/alignment. But I can not ignore certain things that seem to really indicate that Revan was male, and the Exile was female, as I have stated before. -
Well it really depends on who makes the game. I'd trust someone like Obsidian, people who obviously play pnp to make a new system. But if it was "inhouse" then it would probaly be best to stick with the d20. You never know, someone at Lucasarts might know what they are doing, but it would be a pretty big gamble
-
If they use a new engine, might as well design a better game altogether. I'd like to see the end of the d20, but I'm sure it won't happen

I said Palestine has a right to be upset. You're putting words in my mouth. You however only see one set of victims and repeatedly said Palestine has a right, and that the Israeli people are terrorists simply for living in their lands. And you called me a racist? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well for one my mother is Jewish, and by Jewish tradition I'm sure you know what that makes me, so I'm not particuliar hateful against jewish people, just some of their "dishes". I really agree with you that the suicide bombings are a terrible thing. I just don't see actions where innocent people are dying any differently just because one guy had a uniform and the latest equipment of death, and another had a bomb. Also not everyone who wants Israel out believes "terrorism" is the way to go. Peace is suppose to be the harvest of war, but theres no hope of it here, for whatever the reason. And the only way that it couyld be achieved is if you try working the situation a different way. Happy people usually don't commit atrocities, and people are usually happier when they don't have to fight for the necessities. I can't really say that I've had fun arguing about this, but I've been given somethings I will ponder. Now I must sleep, goodnight EnderWiggens, Eru, Jags, Lonewolf, and everyone else
-
And the fact that you only see one set of victims in this strikes me as a bit short sighted, while intentional or not.
-
But by those "allowances" wouldn't Palestine's actions just be another means to the same "gains"? Its all condoning death for land and resources
-
That's hardly constructive. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I wasn't really calling him racist, I just don't really like it too much when people are trying to make an issue with many more then two sides seem black and white The whole tsk tsk thing was pretty juvenile, and seemed to be escalating

One, the U.N., they're not the greatest thing ever. Two ISRAEL Three, the Jewish people or atleast their military has killed alot of people, at their home, some while eating, some because they threw rocks. Four, During Sept. 11 why didn't the terrorist attack, you know places like shopping malls, and baseball stadiums? Why did they choose the Penagon, and the WTC? Were they just trying to kill as many americans as possible? Probaly not, they where pretty stategic places to hit, much like a military might do. Much like our military has done, and there has been some collateral damage in their actions too. So does the family and country of the people who were killed at a wedding accidently by the U.S. have the right to invade the U.S., kill everyone whos in the military or take them prisoner and hold them for as long as they want, and then invade canada, basically because they're white too? And then now at the end I need a real zinger. How about I call you racist?
-
Well I know enough about it to say that christian belief probaly holds little interest to jewish and muslim parties
-
I'm sorry for the plight of the jewish people, but I really don't know how that gives them the right to attack the third world with a very modern and systematic war machine. The U.N.'s decision was a bad one, made at a time when any such decision would have been extremely difficult. People who are desperate to stop an invading force will do desperate things, but a child killed by a tank is no better off then one killed by a suicide bomber.

The apocalypse? Thats soooooooooo 1997. Isn't there also something about sacrificing a red cow or something, and when the hill in Jerusalem, the Temple Mount, has 4 Synagogues(sp?) and no mosk(sp?) (which there's one now)
-
It seems everywhere you turn theres a small country looking to develop nuclear arms. http://www.theonion.com/news/index.php?iss...133&n=1&ref=myy

I have to agree with Comminssar on this one. The Jewish people don't belong there, they're invaders, and to me that makes them the terrorist. Besides anyway, oneday it will all be a parking lot

Well, usually with an expansion, you don't get a whole lot of moaning and bitching about a year long dev. cycle.
-
This is correct DL <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ya, but what do you call drawing animals that walk and talklike people, but wear no pants?
-
Ya that "the c hose none much cho ose" sounds bad, and is difficult to understand

Ya i suggested that they should be rid of the "classes" and allow the player to decide their own character's strengths and weaknesses on their own.. The real problem I see with what you posted is that it would be pretty tough for a character to make the jump from padawan to knight much less all the way to master. Its assumed that a jedi would most likely spend decades in pursuit of the abilities that would make them a master. If we were to get rid of the "fake' classes I would most certainly like to see more realistic "leveling then.
