Oh and Phoenix is not the third largest city, Houston is. But the Dallas/Fort Worth area is easily the third most populated area in the U.S. The problem for the Cards has always been that before they moved from St. Louis I believe, is that the region was already a devout Dallas Cowbois stronghold. Even now they're the 2nd team in the area. Size of the city is on no way as important as fan loyalty.

Oh please. In terms of comedic persona, many 'angry ranting' comics that are post-70's could be said to be ripping off Carlin or Pryor. And I'm sure someone somewhere thought that Carlin/Pryor were ripping off earlier comics. Almost every fantasy book alive has ripped off LoTR. There is no such thing as true originality and unconcious 'rip offs' happen all the time - it's human nature to be unconciously influenced by things we've seen/heard/been around while creating. I know there was the actual joke line by line rip off controversy, but stuff happens, it's never been proven that it was maliciously intentional, and Rescue Me is quite seperate from all of that, anyway, IMO. It's a good show...I don't know exactly how involved Leary is w/the script writing/producing (despite the credits...) but talentless? I don't think so. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thats a pretty weak excuse to like Dennis. And the comedian you're looking for whom everyone "ripped off" is named Lenny Bruce

I don't think theres really any doubt that the Kennedy assassination had an elaborate coverup to conceal who really did it. I've been to the book repository in Dallas and looked out the window, and where it doesn't seem impossible, it at best is very unlikely. Like most people who believe in the conspiracy, I also think that it was a collaboration between the U.S. military, the Republican Party, and weapons contractors, whom of course have been in bed together ever since. I also think this was a turning point of American history from which when the American Empire is looked back upon will be decisively where things went wrong. I always look at "hippies" with angry eyes because they where there when it happened, they where living in the moment that I couldn't touch and they didn't put a stop to it.
