I have the same laptop to play TSL as I had with KOTOR, the only difference it that it now has 512Mb of RAM instead of 256Mb it had before. Hell my PC is able to play NFS underground 2, so I would be REALLY angry if it won't play TSL. My system: 1.13Ghz P3 M 32 MB GeForce 2 Go MX

No that's not it. A PC has to run on the background Windows and about 20 other application that reduce available memory and speed from the system.

How can an engine that has been designed priomarily for FPS be used effectively for the sequel to on of the best RPG games? Doesn't sound right to me....

But you would need a high end PC, similar to the specification of HL 2. And many PRG gamers do not have such machines.

Yes a PC can read DVD discs much faster than the CDs and also you don't have to change disk every 5 minutes. DVD

I think that if your PC played KOTOR there is no reason for it not to play KOTOR 2. The engine of the game has remained the same so unless they have changed something else dramatically you should be able to play the game.

Do you mean what we gonna play the first time? Because in games in KOTOR I played both sides and I intent to do the same now. So you should inlcude the option BOTH.

Welll they should make the next one something like 50 or 100 years from kotor 2, as they should have done with kotor 2 (place it 50 to 100 years after kotor), in that way it won't really matter what you did in the previous game, nor you 'll have to care about seeing old charactters.

T3 and personality in the same sentance?????

I don't know, since I won't play the game till February. I just don't want someone saying what T3 might do in this game..

I wouldn't mind some extra endings, after all I've heard from the Xboxers. But I'm reserving my hudgement for the ending after I've played and finnished the game. If it has a cliffhanger ending, then they will feel the fury of the Dark Side....

I want something extra in the game compared to the Xbox version.

Got to admit that Americans go crazy over the Xmas period and buy everything, so yes the sales of the game in US will be boosted significanlty if it was released before Xmas (as it is the case). IMO the game would seel better if it was released before Xmas also in the rest of the world. Since Xmas is a nice vacation period for students etc. so they have more time and money to spend on video games. Many people also buy PCs and consoles during that period everywhere in the world (maybe Americans a bit more). On a different note, if you think of it we waited for this game only a year and 3-4 months. Which is usually a short amount of time to get a sequel.

Since the use the same engine (with minor upgrades as they have said) it would only seem logical to asume that it will have less bugs. But mysterious are the ways of the bugs, so I would expect one or two patches to come out within a month of the day of release.

They do not know the POWER of the Dark Side. Although I admit it. The first time I will play as LS, cause the galaxy is already in trouble so I won't be me who would bring it on its knees. But during the second playthrough my fingers will be itching me to unleash the devastating powers of the Dark Side.

I agree. I can understand that the PC is completely different than the XBox.... but US Xbox and Int Xbox, I just don't get.
