- Update #65: Ciphers

Small suggestions. Easily implemented ideas, quickfire thoughts.
This is more of a specific class concern, but can also be extended to other classes. In regards to the Cipher class, I feel there's a lot of fun opportunities for special conversation options tied to cipher abilities, when considering mental manipulation and all that jazz. It's not exactly a new concept, but does anyone know if class specific roleplaying options will be implemented? I haven't seen any mention of it, but I haven't read every new update either.

Wildlife, Ecosystems, and Travelers
I think polish like that is something some modders will try to do, regardless of how nice the vanilla game is. There's always some extra detail you could add, not that there's anything wrong with thinking like that though.

Has Project Eternity been silently delayed?
I don't really know about the process in detail, but I always remember thinking the 2014 release date was early, even before/shortly after i backed the project. Especially when considering the care they take with the implementation of side quests(details, writing etc) I always expected this to take a lot of time.

I hope the mechanics are more flexible than BG
Yeah I feel it adds to each individuals classes strengths and weaknesses. So I actually liked those restrictions in place, but I'm not sure how good it is technically for gameplay balance. I can't help but feel it's the wrong mindset to have, but ah well..

NWN2 influences: what to take and what to leave
I have played through it a few times, I actually thought it was decent enough. If there was anything I would like to include, it would be the stronghold. Just never let me sit through anything like the Harvest Fair ever again...Even if you could skip it.

Eternity Artists: Dragons should not (all) be Dragons any more!/Concept art idea
I like the sketch, but rather than Dragons I would prefer if they just went with their own creations of ancient creatures of vast power. I mean there are so many mythical creatures you can draw inspiration from. This is not to say I wouldn't enjoy dragons, it's just a tired cliche. Not every fantasy setting needs it.
