You are missing out! They are the two best characters! They're versatile, fun, and their ultimates are super powerful with very low cooldowns. I have no expansion packs, so I'd probably have to host (otherwise I couldn't join your games).

The official E3 2010 thread of waggle
Nope, just tons of generic MMOGs from Korea and some superhero crap. I don't know why people found it funny that KotOR Online might get good subscriber numbers. Good numbers don't need to be Blizzards scale, just one tenth of it would do just fine. And that would STILL be bigger than almost every other MMO out there.

She's hot. I'd tap that.

Why is Obsidian making this?
Almost 100% definitely going to have LAN play (or play by IP, which is equivalent), because otherwise it'd require a system similar to Battle.net Hmm, indeed, now where might one acquire a system like that...? If you read the previews it's mentioned in a couple that co-op mode can be played online or offline.

No loading times huh? What does it really mean?
From a memory and resource management standpoint in programming, seamless loading is pretty cool.

Thought so. That's good to hear.

Multiplayer: 2 Player coop?
You can choose either according to the previews.

Multiplayer: 2 Player coop?
I think the no Battle.net/steam service is why I will likely get this on console. You want to play a complex action RPG on a CONSOLE? Masochist.

Why is Obsidian making this?
I never played Torchlight (as my game computer has been belly up since before it was released). It's $20 (often on sale for $10), and runs on even the crappiest netbook. Worth buying!

Suggestions for Dungeon Siege III
It doesn't matter. They are unlikely to be in DS3 anyway based on the direction Obsidian is taking the game.
-
Will they continue with the tradition of a map editor or modding tools?
We want one!

Eh? You mean summons? I love summons. I love love love summons. No, I mean pets...

Why is Obsidian making this?
Because god hates you.

Isnt OE's influence companion system a bit counterproductive to roleplaying?
I completely agree with you. I really really hate Obsidian's influence system (especially when it's like "you just gained +1 influence with Kreia!" or whatever). What's worse is watching the Obsidian devs try to extol the virtues of this system, as if they're completely blind to how bad it is. Wow, this post was more harsh than I intended.

Gulf of Mexico oil leak
No doubt, but entire ecologies will be lost... entire species of plants, animals, sea life could be gone forever, altering the entire life cycle of both oceans and land masses. Fragile areas like the LA wetlands, once destroyed, would never return. There are thousands of fragile ecologies around the globe. If this spill becomes massive enough to circumnavigate the planet, ecological damage could be immense beyond comprehension for generations, if not centuries... perhaps beyond. The oil will only dissipate after the gushing is stopped, and frankly, I'm losing hope that we have the technology to stop it. Imagine if the well keeps pumping into the oceans for months, or a year, or even longer. The mind boggles at the potential. It is not a legacy we would wish on our children. Scary, because it's already the largest ecological disaster I've seen, and there simply is no end in sight. A sad assessment, but a good one.

Gulf of Mexico oil leak
Areas of nuclear testing are some of the most pristine on earth due to the unwillingness of humans to predate on the area. I wouldn't argue that makes nuclear testing or accidents good things, though.

Deus Ex 3
Yep. Unlike the Deus Ex 2 (Invisible War ) dev team - they had no ****ing clue what Deus Ex was about.

Multiplayer: 2 Player coop?
8 players just gets too hectic. 4 is good.

I'm getting all nostalgic now...
I LOVE DOTA! HoN is even better. Although I've never actually played WC3 outside of DotA. I bought it for DotA.
-
Multiplayer: 2 Player coop?
4 players. And I bet it'll be extremely fun. But without some sort of dedicated server or Steam/Battle.net/HoN system, this game wont reach its full potential. A big shame.

Oh...for some reason I thought Steam MP & DVD-copy MP used different MP ports (?) servers(?) systems or something. I guess they both use Gamespy then? I'd need to make an GS account & reinstall the game...next time you're in the mood, maybe we could try. No idea how well GS works, never tried it. P.S. ... also, we have all kinds of hardware firewalls, do you really need to forward ports? Screw Gamespy, it's ****. Use GameRanger. It's 10 times simpler and bypasses 95% of router and firewall and port forwarding issues. http://www.gameranger.com/ I go to New Zealand in about 2 days so how about when I get back, on the 30th (or 2nd of July)? Darque: that sucks.

Skills or classes? Balance?
To quote a translation of one of the funcroc-found previews. This sounds like the learn by doing system is gone, and has been replaced by something similar to IWD2 or 3e D&D's class system. You have level-ups, and you can multiclass freely. I'm a happy camper!
