  1. Hah I was planning a grand paint the town style Christmas but I dunno if that's gonna happen since it has started flooding here.
  2. I hope you all have a nice Christmas with your families and friends, and write many merry drunken posts on these boards. Also, boo to hangovers the next day.
  3. 1) While for some of us reading all the threads and new posts in a forum isn't actually anything new, when you become a moderator it takes on a completely different feel - you do it because you feel obliged to. A reason (I'm here, may as well post!), I suspect, for the general spamminess of our moderator cohort - which is OK by me! 2) Yeah! I enjoy my alts and my boneheadedness too much. I've been down the moderator route before and lets just say your alts start to have post counts that rival your own and when they actually start to break the rules and have fights with you, well it's probably time to step down, because the next step is a power trip where you close every second thread and ban everybody whose skin colour is pink, you rascist bastard. *Events depicted in this post may or may not have been undertaken with the help of Alice, may/may not have taken place in the forums of Wonderland, and may/may not in fact be real.
  4. Is there anybody you'd like me to ban?

  5. The Owner, did you know that I am a moderator? The others might tell you I'm not, but that's just because they're trying to be mean and trick you. They do that to new people.
  6. A rogue star was seen to explode without a parent galaxy recently. Seems it figured "**** the rules, I don't need to no galaxy to create me!" http://www.physorg.com/news117206623.html
  7. Yes. Glass armour isn't hard to find lying around Morrowind, but to complete the set, that can be tough. Reference: http://members.shaw.ca/rado907/armor-light.html http://www.uesp.net/morrow/hints/mwitems.shtml#glassarmour
  8. That's cool dude. I take it you like anime?

  9. Oh really? It reminds me of PS:T. Ah, you hive-minded rat bastards!
  10. i just got home from the pud. i think it is getting light ahaha aaaaaaaaaaah
  11. Hah. I totally expected to see some genetics discussing, not the mechanics of frolicking. Anyway, haven't they done similar things before? Moved fish genes to tomatoes to make them frost resistant, moved glowfish genes to other fish to make them glow, made plants glow, etc?
  12. Ok, thanks - good idea. I just checked the consumer watchdog website and it appears that contractually if a phone is lost/stolen they are allowed to keep charging. My points of contention are: Why was I not given prior notice of the disconnection if my details weren't valid, is the contract valid if my details aren't all there, is it not the company's fault for not getting the correct details from me before they themselves signed the contract? Well, I'll take it up with them.
  13. Hahaha this is one of the most hilarious music videos I've ever seen:
  14. Everything you said sounds correct. *sigh* right then, some nasty phone calls on Monday. EDIT: Hmmm... not as horrible as I thought. It'd be a total of $460 wasted over 2 years (Not bad considering the phone is like $400 and was free with he plan). I believe the phone is not network locked, either, so it could be worse. I'll definitely be trying to get reconnected though.
  15. They just disconnected my mobile after a month of a 2 year plan. Claim they don't have a certificate proving my proof of residence or signature because the driver's license they scanned is expired. **** those bastards. The dickheads can't keep charging me each month or anything can they? I did kind of get the phone free on the proviso that $20 minimum would be charged to my account each month, but it's one of the "that's $20 worth of calls you get" things, so if I'm not calling...? Dammit to hell.
  16. And here I was, thinking you had good taste We can still be friends?
  17. Games that significantly influenced me and which I will always adore: Jazz Jackrabbit (1 and 2 are equally great) Fallout 1 (I first played this in year 6 so it was a very unique experience) Half-Life 1 (Made me start to enjoy shooters... plus the science in the game was weefun) Deus Ex 1 (I used to go around quoting the game... hell I still do... it also inspired my interest in chemistry) Planescape: Torment (Sent me on a philosophical rampage at one point) KoTOR1 (Got me interested enough in Star Wars to watch the movies... the old 3 were good, the new 3 were ****) Age of Empires 1 & 2 (Seriously the best RTS's ever) Games which I adore but wouldn't say influenced me overly much me: Baldur's Gate 1 Icewind Dale 1 Fallout 2 System Shock 2 Vampire: Bloodlines HL1: Opposing Force Jedi Knight 2
  18. Aqua - Roses Are Red Tehehehe.
  19. I disliked Cain and felt the constant flashbacks were an annoyance which ruined the flow of the present time plot (one which I loved - the "new" enemy is so much more cooler than the Cylons).
  20. She? Terry is a guy. Anyway, yeah, I liked Thief of Time. The whole time-slicer monk idea was cool. It's my second favourite - The Truth being first.
  21. Hahaha really? You didn't take a silly tour did you? I always climb onto their backs when I go there (which is rarely ever because it's full of tourists).
  22. One of these days, some random company nobody has heard of will make a 2D isometric RPG that looks beautiful and is deep and innovative. It'll take us back to our roots, we'll all praise it and all will be right again in the RPG world.
  23. Eh. I spent today doing job interview stuff and playing BG2. But I'm going hiking in the Blue Mountains tomorrow.
