  1. Do they have subs? We're developing a plan to counteract short and medium range missiles launched from subs and warships, yeah. Doubt it'll be any more effective than America's though.
  2. Just went hiking in the Blue Mountains. What was supposed to be a quick 2 or 3 hour 20km hike turned into 60km because my dad got us lost and refused to concede that fact. Still, it's damn beautiful.
  3. Times like this I'm glad Australia isn't in ICBM range.
  4. Well I thought it was the owner till I noticed nobody was baiting him. I agree that the NWN1 OC was unfinished. But only in the sense that it was your generic bioware campaign. No more unfinished than ToB (considering it was meant to be BG3). It was certainly lacking, but I really enjoyed SoU and HoTU was OK, so it evened out I guess.
  5. Time for Christmas lunch with the relos. =/
  6. I spent Christmas eve dinner with my grandparents and we had a few beers. They are hilarious drunks. Now for Christmas lunch and dinner! Night.
  7. Might not be a good idea to click "I'm feeling lucky" for "Maria Ozawa" unless you really do want your little guy to feel lucky.
  8. You know what they say about a guy with a lot of female friends. He is cursed with having jealous girlfriends? I had a rather embarassing Saturday night. Out clubbing ran into an ex of mine. Things started getting a wee bit emotional and complex, and one thing and another, and a cab arrived and there's all these serious eye contacty things going on but I'm wondering if it makes any sense... and she's always doing my head in with mood swings and... should I go or should I stay, and how to explain... ...A fuse blew in my head. Or maybe something just unstuck itself. The right course of action was clear in an instant. I vaulted the fence next to me and just ran off. I ran like the wind! The sheer unbelievably juvenile thrill of literally running away from teh whole complicated mess propelling me at quite incredible speed. I was exceptionally drunk, but I think I yelled something like "I'm free! Free like a lion, baby! Leaping like a lamb!" then *sproing* jumped a wall and must've disappeared from view. Now, I'm sure I hurt her feelings, but I have got to be honest. It was the most fun I've had all year. I recommend it to anyone. Trouble with the boss? Run off giggling. Exam in partial differential equations? Run off giggling. Confronted by muggers? Run off giggling. I think that was the most awesome thing I've read in a long time.
  9. Atari is not known for good service - it isn't just local to Taiwan Atari.
  10. Hah I was planning a grand paint the town style Christmas but I dunno if that's gonna happen since it has started flooding here.
  11. I hope you all have a nice Christmas with your families and friends, and write many merry drunken posts on these boards. Also, boo to hangovers the next day.

    1) While for some of us reading all the threads and new posts in a forum isn't actually anything new, when you become a moderator it takes on a completely different feel - you do it because you feel obliged to. A reason (I'm here, may as well post!), I suspect, for the general spamminess of our moderator cohort - which is OK by me! 2) Yeah! I enjoy my alts and my boneheadedness too much. I've been down the moderator route before and lets just say your alts start to have post counts that rival your own and when they actually start to break the rules and have fights with you, well it's probably time to step down, because the next step is a power trip where you close every second thread and ban everybody whose skin colour is pink, you rascist bastard. *Events depicted in this post may or may not have been undertaken with the help of Alice, may/may not have taken place in the forums of Wonderland, and may/may not in fact be real.

The Owner, did you know that I am a moderator? The others might tell you I'm not, but that's just because they're trying to be mean and trick you. They do that to new people.
  14. A rogue star was seen to explode without a parent galaxy recently. Seems it figured "**** the rules, I don't need to no galaxy to create me!" http://www.physorg.com/news117206623.html

    Hahahaha!
  16. Yes. Glass armour isn't hard to find lying around Morrowind, but to complete the set, that can be tough. Reference: http://members.shaw.ca/rado907/armor-light.html http://www.uesp.net/morrow/hints/mwitems.shtml#glassarmour
  17. Oh really? It reminds me of PS:T. Ah, you hive-minded rat bastards!
  18. i just got home from the pud. i think it is getting light ahaha aaaaaaaaaaah
  19. Hah. I totally expected to see some genetics discussing, not the mechanics of frolicking. Anyway, haven't they done similar things before? Moved fish genes to tomatoes to make them frost resistant, moved glowfish genes to other fish to make them glow, made plants glow, etc?
  20. Ok, thanks - good idea. I just checked the consumer watchdog website and it appears that contractually if a phone is lost/stolen they are allowed to keep charging. My points of contention are: Why was I not given prior notice of the disconnection if my details weren't valid, is the contract valid if my details aren't all there, is it not the company's fault for not getting the correct details from me before they themselves signed the contract? Well, I'll take it up with them.
  21. Hahaha this is one of the most hilarious music videos I've ever seen:
  22. Everything you said sounds correct. *sigh* right then, some nasty phone calls on Monday. EDIT: Hmmm... not as horrible as I thought. It'd be a total of $460 wasted over 2 years (Not bad considering the phone is like $400 and was free with he plan). I believe the phone is not network locked, either, so it could be worse. I'll definitely be trying to get reconnected though.
  23. They just disconnected my mobile after a month of a 2 year plan. Claim they don't have a certificate proving my proof of residence or signature because the driver's license they scanned is expired. **** those bastards. The dickheads can't keep charging me each month or anything can they? I did kind of get the phone free on the proviso that $20 minimum would be charged to my account each month, but it's one of the "that's $20 worth of calls you get" things, so if I'm not calling...? Dammit to hell.
  24. And here I was, thinking you had good taste We can still be friends?
