Not that I like to invoke the slippery slope argument because more often that not it's just a load of manure but I'd say giving the UK a charitable deal that maybe even makes it too easy to come back (maybe even with the special snowflake status) would lend more credence to the euroskeptics and cause other nations to go for a painless exit the moment they see an advantage in it. The UK needs to have their cake and eat it and the EU needs to look at this as an opportunity for reform. That would be painful so it's not going to happen anyway. The EU will do what it always does, subject everything to the economic needs of a few and generate more anti-EU sentiment. Fitting that it would culminate where it began with the Wicked Witch a long time ago.

There's a lot of anti-EU sentiment coming from the big players getting a pass on issues smaller countries wouldn't. Like France not conforming to the Maastricht convergence criteria without repercussions or Germany being allowed to discriminated against foreigners using the Autobahn. The absolute worst of these was the UK with their special snowflake status. So yeah, Volo, but... no. The EU was willing to cut the UK a deal far better than anything they deserve because they're all spineless chumps. If the EU and its officials had as much as an ounce of self respect they'd have sent them packing with a no deal, hard Brexit right from the start. Y'know, in order to make an actual example of the UK and brng back some of the trust lost, if that is even possible. That doesn't mean that Germany isn't abusing their power and influence for every advantage they can get of course and with the UK gone our butt budies France and Germany are going to dominate even harder, but that's a different topic entirely.

I'm pretty sure Jeri Ryan takes the cake though, she had to wear outfit so tight on Voyager that it interfered with her circulation and she once even passed out from it. Although speaking strictly from my teenage toxic male gaze the results were... impressive at the time.

I just tried the GOG version on Windows 10 with a GTX 970. Worked without a hitch. Saw Taris and quit though, so that's one issue that's not ever going away...

KOTOR's PC version was always pretty broken and the issues got worse over time. It's possible to get it running when installing from the original discs but it often requires the use of third party patches and even then usually ends in the player having to turn off the cutscenes and certain dialogues skipping right to the end. In my experience the best bet to get a decent out of the box experience is to go with the GOG version.

Yup, their breakthrough is pretty amazing and awesome. Yeah. I've seen a lot of people say they think S2 is a big improvement but to me both have been pretty much run of the mill Voyager/ TNG S1 level, which isn't great.

I can't take them seriously, they made Bard's Tale win "best remake" award. What the hell is Kenshi doing there :D The Bard's Tale remake is easily the best remake/remaster I've ever played and the best game in InXile's entire catalogue. Best joke I've heard all week. A ton of glitches, completely broken pathing, crashes that corrupt save files, terrible optimalization, combat that is basically rocket tag and very easy to exploit... do I need to go on? The game is 6/10 on Steam atm and that's pretty generous for this piece of crap. You do know that the The Bard's Tale Trilogy is not The Bard's Tale IV, right?

Nah, no Frenchies in my family that I know of. I had relatives in the French Foreign Legion but I doubt that counts. Properly boiled beef is divine. ME:A is easily worth the money for the combat and exploration. The rest of the game is... not up to par, but not nearly as bad as the initial reactions made it out to be. Even if everyone's face is a little tired.

Boiled beef with vegetables and some marrow from the bones spread on bread as well as a nice soup with Leberknödel. And yeah, it tastes a lot better than it sounds.
