Thanks for all the feedback and information! Lots of good discussion. TBH, I really wanted to roll a ranged ranger, with a stronger pet. I wouldn't mind giving up a spot for my 6th charather to bring along an equally powerful pet, but that's just me! Maybe there will be some intersting mods or something that make ranger more enticing to play.

Thanks for all the feedback! A ranger tank sounds like an interesting build! Wasn't what I thought they could do, but I'll try building one eventually. As for them being better at melee than range really is a let down, but i'll still give them a whirl! I guess me ranger and wolf pair will have to sit on the back burner, will prolly try rogue my first play thru. Thanks all! Can't wait for next week, look forward to enjoying the game with everyone!

Hey everyone, games almost out, I'm excited. Spring Break + Game Release = Happy Camper My question to you all, since I haven't had a chance to test out rangers since January, is what's the state of the Ranger class? Have they changed much? Better, worse, or more of the same? Pet management - enjoyable or a chore? What's a good way to build them? Thanks for any info!

I don't mind having the steam version until the disks arrive, but having all the phyiscal media day of or even before the game is out just makes the game that much more interesting to play. I grew up playing all the old classics like ultima and zelda, having maps was a must, I still have some of the old media laminated.

This game is gonna my Game of the Year for 2015, I can't wait!

Yea I just wanted to be able to test a few more areas out while I'm sitting on my duff on break, bugs and such, to lighten the final release load!

I wish I could play during the semester, but it's my final one, and I'll be stuck with an enormous work load. After that I'll have my degrees and looking for work with this economy, meaning i'll have plenty of free time to play to my heart's content!

I'm sure once it's out, the same people will be round posting all the issues they find here. I'm on holiday this month so was hoping to get more in before I go back to school next semester. Guess I'll just have to wait till summer to enjoy the game fully!

Ah well, one can dream can't they? Will just have to hold out till release then!

I'm sure y'all have seen it, but looting quest items or currency with anyone but the main characther causes them to break. I've picked up currency on another character, and it was stacking pretty high. I then tried to stack it with other similar items, and bam disappeared. I reloaded, freed up some space on the main characther, and then moved the currency to the main character, and it was finally deposited in the group funding. Also, quest items not picked up by the main character have a bad habit of disappearing, not into the quest loot location, but in general. I've lost the ogre head quest item and keys to doors in the skaeth area this way when changing locations.

Yea I'd support Co-op. If not this time around, then in future expansions.

My favorite Villian of all time has to be Kefka from final fantasy 6. Here's a villian who starts off small time and gets beaten around, then who commits acts of genocide at whim. Backstabs and betrays and eventually takes power and destroys the world. After your forces lose, you had to regroup, and try and take this now demigod on in an attempt to save the world. By far one of the best villians ever done. I'd love to see another pyscho Joker style villian like this who needs to be taken down.
