He's also making a strong case for Ftard of the Year award. I mean I gotta be frank here, I'm starting to have serious doubts Gawker HAS a legal team. This is starting to hit a point where I would at least be reviewing the legal team for professional misconduct. I mean there's only so much a lawyer can do when assigned to guard an idiot, but at the same time....do they NOT have the common sense to speak to their lawyers at all before posting half this ****? I've little doubt Denton has been advised against making posts such as what you linked. I've also little doubt Denton isn't taking the advice his lawyers give him seriously, on this matter and others. Incompetent lawyers exist aplenty, but grossly incompetent ones (to the extent they wouldn't advise their client to keep shush about matters involving a case that still is in court, and especially to not tell lies; which is lawyer 101 stuff in the vast majority of cases) aren't that common. Considering Denton's law firm has won U.S. New's 'Media Lawfirm of the Year' award, it's unlikely they are advising him badly, at least insofar as the bar association or any appeals court will ever be concerned. Maybe there is a method to the madness, but I doubt it's anything more than Denton's hubris. At the end of the day, a lawyer works for their client, and no matter how good the lawyer is, some stupid cannot be saved. In a somewhat related aside:

Of course but the 140 million should be used more constructively than just going to strip clubs? Cocaine and a steady diet of sugarbabies come with a $140 mil VIP access to strip clubs all over the world. What's more constructive than that? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z49bfaXGX78

Gawker is pure dung, as are most if not all of it's affiliates. I'm not even not remotely concerned it will go under, I hope it does (it probably won't). Being concerned about Gawker going under insofar as any kind of supportive of free media argument is like being concerned about a roach infested dunghole of a restaurant that's repeatedly epicly failed health inspections, finally going out of business because it lost a lawsuit brought by a customer who ate their food, became deathly ill to the point they lost their livelihood as a result, suffered irreparable long term damage to their body, and the owners were not only unrepentant they argued they had a right to serve such unhealthy dung. That's a business that deserves to die.

I liked your post. But liking it wasn't enough. I need to quote it too. For truth, for epicness, for awesomeness, for all the Hulkamaniacs out there! Also, in case 3:26 isn't enough for anyone reading this as it wasn't enough for me:

The supplies mechanic is bad
Valsuelm replied to Arnegar's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
Funny, I find it the exact opposite. I'm constantly reminded of an artificial handicap that makes no sense, especially in light of 'the stash'. There is absolutely no difficulty factor in having to go back to pick up camping supplies, there is however an annoyance factor and a break the 4th wall factor. -
Devs: A plea for a walk toggle
Valsuelm replied to oddrheia's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
I'm skeptical if this no-brainer feature request thread will go anywhere, as there's already been a few about this. But for what it's worth. Yes please to this feature which should have been in from day one. Also, add blue circles for neutral NPCs while you're at it please Obsidian. That way a lot of us won't have a reason to use to IE mod anymore. For two features that are simple to implement and should have been in the game since beta. -
Yeah, that's what I meant with it. He is not the kind that builds strong international relations. It is truly comical if you think that anyone that has run for President in the last 20+ years, won or lost, is 'the kind that builds strong international relations', let alone who has actually won during that time. Not so comical that you even think that is important in a world where almost every single 'leader' of a nation is a bought and paid for puppet. Puppet building strong superficial relationship with puppet is entirely irrelevant.

That's a nice rant and all, but technological advancement would have occurred regardless of our currency. Machines replacing human labor is the primary concern of this video. It wasn't really a rant. It was an attempt at explaining a problem fundamental to what the video is getting at, yet doesn't mention because the makers of it don't see/understand it. In fact, most people don't (even though it's not even remotely rocket science), which is the #1 reason why it's even a problem to begin with.

His loyalty to the Zionists is clear, he was born into the club and never left, so he's free to do whatever. The goyim however, must show up and show their fealty, else there will be repercussions.

Nice find. Only 'strange bedfellows' though to folks who think 'conspiracy theorist' is a pejorative, and/or is ignorant to just how evil Clinton is.

Well there's an article with some serious stinkypoo in it. I wonder if Liel actually believes his BS or if he's just spouting what was conjured up by/with his bosses in the IDF. If many folks at AIPAC walk out, they will have shot themselves in the foot with a very loud powerful round. Most people are ignorant to AIPAC and what it does. It serves AIPAC to stay under the radar. Staging a walkout will put them on the radar in a way that will not serve them. I think it will be exceptionally unwise of them to stage a walkout, and I don't think it will happen as these folks are usually exceptionally smart at the PR game (ie: Lieb's article is more than likely just some Israeli psyop stuff). That said, this speech is definitely one to watch. Trump is very smart and plays the PR game quite well himself. He knows who he is talking to there, and how dangerous it potentially is for him. It will be interesting to see what he says, and doesn't. Because for the more astute the sincerity of his anti-establishment image could cement into a reality or go poof all together.

Two of my all time favorite folks songs. Moving songs about true tragedies, haunting and beautiful.

Understatement of the year, dude doesn't have a single fan outside the USA. Well, the international propaganda machine (aka 'mainstream media'; largely owned by the same folks worldwide) is going out of it's way to demonize him and show that people in other nations (as well as within the U.S.) hate him, so one might think that, but it wouldn't be true. Fortunately it doesn't matter much what people outside the U.S. think when it comes to U.S. politics (other than the fact that our current system allows foreigners to purchase our politicians/government, which is a tinsy problem, but I think we're talking about average Joe foreigner, not their overlord, so anon on that). In addition to Average Joe foreigner's opinion being of little to no consequence, is the fact that the propagation of such an unfact, that all foreigners hate Trump, is like to sway more Americans to vote for Trump than against him. Certainly many of the folks who so far plan to vote for him will love him even more if it rankles some foreigners. Hell, the propagation of such an unfact even has myself considering just for a moment of switching my so far planned vote for Mickey to Donald. Not that I'm happy about rankling foreigners (I really don't care either way), it's that the full court press by the mainstream media on an international level against Trump is a huge positive for him in my book, given that said propaganda machine more often describes blue skies as storms and spades as waffledonkeys than tell it like it is, especially when they're trying hard to convince the populace at large of something. In other words, what evil murderous lying MFers consider an enemy, I might just consider a friend. So far I'm sticking with Mickey though.

I can't read what the cartoon says, but knowing what I know of Japanese pop culture and cartoons, that cartoon very well might be one friendly to Trump. Japanese cartoons and pop culture can be a tad weird by most western standards if you haven't noticed. If anyone here can do it though, a legit translation would no doubt be amusing.

That's somewhat of a meaningless poll, even if accurate, which it more than likely isn't. It's also somewhat misleading (as many polls are). Here's the data: http://graphics.thomsonreuters.com/16/Trump-poll.pdf (interesting how it's named 'Trump-poll'). That first poll isn't talking about military support for the candidates. Here's how the military currently sees the candidates.

Pillars of Eternity 2 questions
Valsuelm replied to Daermon's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
I'm curious. Did you play any of the preceding 7? 8 was actually the last one I played all the way through. Having played 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and FFTactics, I rank 8 last amongst the FFs I've played. Still a good game overall though. You should play Planescape Torment. Edit: Talking about FFVIII reminded me to listen to a great song I hadn't heard in a long time. Final Fantasies always had great music: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0oQv3leISYU -
There's actually not a single Protestant on the court.... It's currently 5 Catholics and 3 Jews. Before Scalia shuffled off the mortal coiil it was 6 Catholics and 3 Jews. Obama wants to make it 5 Catholics and 4 Jews, in a nation founded by almost exclusively by Protestants. It's worth noting that every single member of the current SCOTUS, including the late Scalia, replaced a Protestant.

Garland isn't a 'moderate' by any means. He's only being packaged that way to sell him. Hillary's nominees aren't like to be any worse than Obama's (you really can't get much worse than Garland (if you're going to go the modern traditional route and nominate a Federal Judge that is)), even if she herself is worse than he. The whole 'we gotta get someone in there before Hillary gives us someone worse' argument is total BS false dichotomy designed to get Obama's creature in there. That said, the Republicans are decently likely to ultimately approve him Hillary or no, as the 'leadership' is anything but leadership, and the average Republican on the hill may as well be a Democrat. Almost all of them are spineless shill sellouts. That the people who have voted for them by and large feel unrepresented is arguably reason #1 why Trump is as popular as he is to begin with (and on the flip side of the aisle, also arguably the #1 reason Sanders is as popular as he is to begin with). I will sincerely and probably pleasantly be surprised if the Republicans (and perhaps even some Dems) hold out on approving a new member of the SCOTUS until after a new president is in office.

I think Nate Silver is wrong. Here are MY odds: 10 percent chance of President Hillary with Democratic Senate 5 percent chance of President Hillary with Republican Senate 84.5 Percent chance of President Trump with Republican Senate 0.5 Percent chance of some other republican Nah. Nate's made me some decent money in fantasy baseball and Vegas in general. I'll go with his picks. They aren't his picks (or at least he didn't come up with the numbers himself). They're from a site called predictwise, which less than two months ago was predicting Rubio had a 55% chance to win the nomination. It's a totally BS fluff site that lacks credible use. As Nate is citing it as if it's credible, he is a moron. Nate isn't really known for making money on fantasy baseball or Vegas, he's known for selling people on his BS that he can make them money.
