My memory is a little foggy, but I didnt pay anything (or very very little) for the birth of my child.

NASA's Mars helicopter Ingenuity will attempt its 2nd flight Thursday. "According to Aung, the images from Ingenuity's second flight should begin to arrive at approximately 9:21 a.m. EDT (1321 GMT)."

Theres probably a Reddit thread about it, but one thing you absolutely do not want to happen to you in the US, and I cannot stress this enough, is to get bitten by a venomous snake. The price of anti-venom is so astronomical they will just come over, put your house on jacks, and tow that thing right off the foundation.

Its interesting to compare the "new housing starts" from 1968-2021. In my case, the early-mid 90's seems worse or equivalent to today, but Im sure youre right about the geographic location being a big factor.

No need for nuclear missiles or scawy Russian tsunami torpedoes, global warming is past the "tipping point". But I realize that Im the dinosaur in the room and I think things have changed in the real estate market. Back in my day, my first home was what was coined a "starter home". It was modest, a simple 3BR / 2Bath ranch style, in a quiet suburb of FL. I sure as hell didnt have the full down payment so I had to get PMI. Anywho, fast forward a few years, and property appreciates as property do, and when I sold it I made a nice profit, which I was able to apply to a nicer house. Rinse and repeat. But maybe such opportunities no longer exist or are too far away from their desired location?

A different coastline is on the way. A wise investor should buy up properties a little inland and then in a couple decades they will be able to leave their descendants beachfront property. Follow me for more tips.

Youve got it exactly wrong, yet again. Those are the only things I need to worry about. The rest of the world can form a queue and Ill get to you as my interest and resources permit. UHC! UHC! UHC! and UBI!

Whoa, some old names in this thread. As to your topic, to legally purchase a weapon, I think we need to incorporate some kind of psychological exam. But theres no realistic way to comb someone social media posts. Of course that does nothing to control the sales of illegal guns but its a start.

That would definitely expedite things around here. But seriously, Illinois comes in at 26.41% of the population being fully vaccinated.
-
^Gatekeeping? Do those countries require a person to show their vaccination card before being admitted into a public place? The US doesnt.

Sony Reverses Course, Will Continue Selling PS3 and Vita Games After All.

Since the goalposts have shifted from a "simple checkup" to trying to purchase IIlludium PU-36 to treat dear old gramgram's Nth stage cancer, then I can get on board this sentiment. Its a graphic example that illustrates the clear need for UHC. I for one am tired of our birthrights being trampled by the fatcats.

NASA's Mars helicopter Ingenuity takes off on historic 1st powered flight on another world.

Sick people are infinitely more expensive than healthy people. True story.

This made me curious so I looked up the PS3, which was released in 2006. Can it be assumed that this battery has at least a 15 year lifespan? So the PS5 would be looking at potential failure ~2036?

Oh thank the flying spaghetti monster! Terrible law. Maybe now I can get some sweet sweet UHC up in here.

Gather round yall because Im about to blow your minds. Not only do you get an annual free panoramic x-ray from but you also get a free annual cleaning! But wait for it...wait for it.......our medial insurance provides one free annual checkup and our vision insurance includes one free annual eye exam. KAAAAAAAAABOOOOOOOOOOOOOM GOES YOUR BRAIN! You may now be asking yourself, "is it true? Does pharmabro really want to cradle my head to his warm chest and make coo-ing noises?" No. Pharmabro does this because it is in its own best interest to provide free preventative maintenance to its policy holders to try to catch things early. But to go back to your earlier "lack of understanding": a) All US residents must have insurance. Its the law. b) All insurance plans have a "copay". Its usually around fiddy bucks, not in fact a months pay. c) And this part is absolutely crucial, when attending any one of these checkups, the doctor will ask you "how you feel", and you should tell them. See, unlike European doctors, US doctors have not yet achieved the ability to diagnose mental conditions at a glance. They will require you to tell them "doc, they wont let me bring my emotional support donkey into the office, and now I has the upset-sies". Maybe one day we will also achieve nirvana, but until then you have to show up, pay $50, and talk to the doctors.

^Considering that both of those sentences are patently false, its a good thing were in the funny thread so I can point and laugh at the ignorance lack of understanding.

That was fun to watch: 1) Throttle: Set to 11 2) Brake: Removed from the motorcycle 3) Use of two wheels: Optional

The pilot on your water heater uses a push button igniter (do you hear a click when you push it), like a gas BBQ grill, right? So no electricity necessary.

Eh, 120V wont kill you (unless youre standing in water). Feels like a tickle/vibration in your hand.

I feel like Ive asked you this, and I even searched for the conversation to no avail, but was your house built before ~1972? If you take the wall plate off the microwave plug, do you see copper or aluminum wiring attached to the plugs terminals?
