    LOST

If nothing else we learn that Charlie didnt change his fate with his jaunt down the hill in the van.
  2. Cool. My plan is to actually play this game through once its to the point "where it was supposed to be". I think Ill wait for the non-beta version before patching.
  3. Hehe, well therin lies the pickle. You feel that way while most religous people feel humanity occurs at conception.
  4. Holy crapinoly, 65 shortcuts FTW!

What? Am I the only one that liked Pluto Nash?
  6. Heh, I cheated and looked at the poll choice.
  7. Im not informed enough about everyones stance but so far Im liking Rudy Guliani.
  8. I liked WK very much. I can still remember the battle on the bottom floor just before you encounter Demogorgon, awesome.
  9. Wasnt Boston heavily into the use of synthesizers?
  10. I couldnt even get the page to load but I say BURN THE HIPPIES!
  11. I did the same thing and asked the same question. You can see the responces here.
  12. My Sony Handycam has a "Nightshot" button and it works like a champ. The interesting part is that while you can clearly see on the viewer the green glow it projects no visible light at all out of the front of the camcorder.
  13. ^The Conan series rocks.
  14. Heh, welcome to the club. Years of standing next to jet engines and APU (auxillory power units) have damaged my hearing in the high frequency ranges. That and I also go completely deaf whenever my lady starts bitching.
  15. A couple of counterpoints. What good has come of regulation? None you say? This reminds me of the mentality displayed by others in the "legalize all drugs" thread. That if something isnt 100% effective we might as well chuck it in the trash and have a free for all. Of course malpractice and bad drug still occur, but could you image what wouldnt be caught and ruled out if no oversight was performed? I feel it is a mistake to equate vets and doctors. Prices would not stay stable simply because we are who we are and when our day comes we would pay anything to extend our lives or cure our ills. In addition, the medicine, machines and test for humans are vastly more complex, hence expensive. Of course, you may have poor insurance and thats why you wuld have to wait weeks and pay through the nose but those are localized examples and IMO, cannot be applied as a "rule of thumb".

    Skydiving

Then you ask to have her strapped to your front. *ba-dum-ching* Ive always wanted to do skydiving. IIRC, you must have two tandem jumps before you can solo. They have a group here called Skydive Chicago that will take you up for around $150-200 per jump and get you qualified. I could never really drum up a commitment from my friends so I never got around to it.
  17. Ah, Im Fire specced so Ive never seen that before. Im actually kinda stuck as to where to spend the talent I just earned last night upon making lvl 69. Im fully Fire specced except for two somewhat odd talents and I invested in Arcane up to and including Arcane Fortitude. That only leaves me two points (69 & 70) and Im not sure if I should just flesh out Fire or maybe invest in the wand talent on the Arcane side. I have zero in the Frost tree as it doesnt interest me at all but one cool thing I noticed was when I teamed with a Frost mage (great crowd control) there was virtually nothing that could threaten us.
  18. Because we are unwilling to use the same model to control people as brutal dictators.
  19. @Cant: Whats that spell you have in the top bar, ninth from the left?
  20. Wow, thats a superawesome synopsis of what you type every single time. Really, just put it in your sig already and you will save loads of time. However, it does not address what we are talking about, that only an Iraqi can bring control to Iraq. I feel any population can be brought under control by any occupier IF the occupier applies the necessary force to do so. You know, like Saddam did.
  21. No Sand, you have to explain everything because you are dangerously stupid, wrong about everything and nobody understands you. Most of the time I realize you're simply flamebaiting but every once in a while the specter of doubt creeps in and I wonder if you are a "challenged" person. If so, fire me a PM and Ill stop correcting you. So, to address the latest drivel you typed: 1) Saddam's party was the minority of Iraqis. 2) Saddam murdered and oppressed any and all that opposed him and forced everyone into stability. 3) He was almost universally despised by his people. Now, as you sit there scratching your head in confusion lets consider why this worked. Did the Iraqi populous think "This guy is a brutal dictator but hey, hes an Iraqi so we'll let it slide" or did they think "Hey this guy will kill me, my family and the family camel if I open my mouth. I better shut up."? Im fairly confident any populous could be subjected were the occupier willing to exert enough force, Iraqi in origin or not. Now we could also go into how Al Queda is also purposely destabilizing the situation between the Sunni's and Shiites to exacerbate the the entire countries problems but I think we've discussed enough for now.
  22. Gold dragon here.
  23. Saw IV is coming out. They're really milking the series. OY! Considering that they must go with the "the last guy still trapped becomes the new killer" routine. Lame sauce.
  24. Sure. That's why tomorrow morning I'll be at your front door waiting to punch you in the face. Because I want your computer. Ha, thats what you think smartypants. Now that Im aware of your nefarious plan I will look through my peephole and turn the sprinklers on. Sorry it had to come to that but you brought it on yourself.
  25. Make up you mind. Or is this more of your tried and true "The US cant do nothin right!"? @astr0creep: There is something to be said for "fighting the enemy there or we will be fighting the enemy here" reasoning.
