The "I win" button existed in every IE game in the form of a console command that will kill any targeted enemy. Was you game broken by its existence?

Im not sure about Malaysia but isnt there some process where you could create for example: Qistina, Inc.? If you have the skill and required software's maybe you could launch a Kickstarter of your own?

All that proves Malc is that the Canadian authorities are in cahoots with the reverse vampire illuminati stonecutter cabal that is secretly trying to pick off minorities one criminal complaint at a time. smh. -
Engagement Mechanics- Problems and Solutions

I think he is saying that you can break engagement by stun/prone/paralyzing whatever mook is engaging a party member. -

Only because you're too lazy to go enlighten yourself, and are content with others doing the thinking for you. And if you think that just because there's a lot of media attention to something that things still can't be hidden.... well.... shoot me a pm for some good deals on bridges I have special just for you! Yes, Im sure you have it all figured out to the exclusion of everyone else. But you are correct in the assumption that I am too lazy to discuss stupid conspiracy theories with you. -

Valsuelm makes a fair point with regard that a DA has a vested interest in not alienating the people they work with by providing vigerous prosecution. But as Grand Jurys are secret, we'll never know if there wasn't enough evidence of if the DA presented a weak case to ensure his future cases don't get sabatoged. I suppose anything could happen. Im just not one that sees bogeymen operating behind the scenes every time a decision doesn't go as I expect. I take it on face value that the grand juries in Ferguson and this case know more about the situation than we do. Imo, due to the media coverage, there's no way that evidence was suppressed. But of course facts never get in the way of a good paranoia. -

I don't think there will be a completely 100% non-lethal method to take down a mook in the near future. Choke holds, tazers, pepper spray, bean bag bullets, etc... all can kill if they hit you in the sweet spot. I fully support a method to develop some kind of sticky bomb, deployed by drone, that can be fired at a mook and will envelop them in a ball of goo. "A city medical examiner found that the 43-year-old Garner was killed by neck compression from the chokehold along with “the compression of his chest and prone positioning during physical restraint by police”. Asthma, heart disease and obesity were contributing factors." "The medical examiner said compression of the neck and chest, along with Garner's positioning on the ground while being restrained by police during the July 17 stop on Staten Island, caused his death. Garner's acute and chronic bronchial asthma, obesity and hypertensive cardiovascular disease were contributing factors, the medical examiner determined." It was a homicide, according to the medical examiner. Edit: not to mention that the use of choke holds is against department policy, so there was absolutely no justification whatsoever to use it against a nonviolent (see video) person. The grand jury didn't agree. Per Wiki: "The "grand jury" in the United States is composed of 12 to 23 citizens." So are we now devolving into this case being some nefarious plot by random citizens off the street to protect rogue cops? Grand juries have a reputation for indicting for anything, yet they didn't in this case. Ever wonder why? Maybe they know more facts about the case? -

Don't let facts get in the way Boo. He died because the choke hold exacerbated an existing asthma condition. He was not choked to death and a grand jury (which will indict a sandwich) found no grounds to proceed with a criminal trial. -
Moved at OP request.

When PoE was first introduced, there were no misses, because people got red faced when their low level party would miss in the IE games. Thankfully that went away and the miss/graze/hit/crit system was born.
-
12? I want to level up more :D Me too! I want to reach god slaying levels of power but we'll have to wait for the expansion / PoE2.
-
You do it daily, why not Obs. The game will be balanced around the crit path. So if you do nothing else you will be around level 8-9 by the end of the game. Then there is all the side stuff. If you do everything in the game you will end around level 12. Oh noes! What will Obs do to prevent such a level disparity between the crit path player and the completionist player? Nothing. As it should be.
-
There is no level pacing problem, because Obs can count.
-
Trap xp should be given to the entire party and not just the trap disarmer. Like beastiary xp.
-
Yes, because the devs wouldn't have any possible way of calculating what the aggregate xp gain would be and adjust the levels accordingly. If someone, somewhere, opens ~50 traps game wide then the whole game will be broken. *nods*

There are only 5 skills in the game (Athletics, Stealth, Survival, Lore, Mechanics) and you can have up to 6 characters. Characters can have more than one skill. You only need one character to be good at certain things (Mechanics, for instance) and you'll be able to open all the locks and disarm all of the traps you like. I understand that but not how it pertains to the conversation. Im poking holes in peoples silly claims that the mere existence of something "forces" them to play contrary to how they would prefer (IE: Claims that they cannot resist "farming" kill or trap xp because lack of self control.) I think that's stupid and shouldn't be a drain on resources trying to prevent.
-
Good luck Labadal.
-
Huh? In a "rolls" based system people could just reload until they win. In the case of hard checks you have to wait until you reach a certain number to be successful. Now those lacking impulse control will be "forced" to backtrack the entire game to get the xp that they cant live without. Oh the humanity! Im not following, please elaborate.
-
Good? What kind of monster are you? Now people will be "forced" to wait until they level up the disarm skill and then "forced" to walk back to wherever that trap was to disarm it for the xp.
