  1. Had a weird day down at the ole fishing hole yesterday. So were standing there fishing when out of the corner of my eye I see my friends pole go *WHAM*WHAM* and then sail completely over the railing and into the river. We tried to find it with a net but no luck. My friend is bumming hard when around 30 minutes later I reel i my line to rebait my hook and there is some random other line hooked to my line. I pull it in and there is a sinker and treble hook. We take that random hook, line and sinker and walk over to the general area where his pole went in. He throws it in and on the second toss, against all odds, hooks his own lost pole right on the spinner guard! The fish had gotten away but ~$75 retrieved from the river!
  2. Well nowadays people cant stop recording their own stupidity to social media. Then he went and got all tore up with mental trauma: Which was only recently "re-triggered" by her reporting her own case: /winking with both eyes....wait...that's just blinking.
  3. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GXE_n2q08Yw That so mean of me, Im sure hes totes doing it to make a stand!
  4. Is that how the UK press performs? Here in the US, "fact checking" only comes into play when they get caught out.
  5. Huh, I thought Canadians loved Trudeau like Nu Jesus.
  6. In a physical resemblance kind of way, sure. But imo, your "soul" and everything that makes you "you", is located directly between your ears and "you" will cease to exist upon death.
  7. Good article. Its nice to see that countries outside of the US can see whats going on.
  8. Do you get any kind of decent return on those? For example, GameStop here in the US will buy console games but only for pennies on the dollar.
  9. Pls no. I could have gone my whole day without knowing that.
  10. At that time, I was stationed on aircraft carriers (CVN-65 / CVN-72). We would go up on the flight deck and stand shoulder to shoulder around the outer perimeter at parade rest. That's "manning the rails". The city would also bust out those tug boats that have water shooting cannons on them (for fire fighting) and they would flank us spraying water in long high arcs. People would wait up on the GG and Bay bridges with banners and stuff. It was pretty cool.
  11. I remember I used to have to don my dress uniform and "man the rails" whenever we would pass under the Golden Gate bridge on our way out or returning from Westpac's. I actually loved doing it.
  12. Im pretty sure I played the P&P version back when the earth was cold and dark.
  13. Homosexual behavior in animals.
  14. Hmm, so in Hinduism the souls will retain the memories of its former lives? Otherwise, whats the point in reincarnating as a buttworm / human if that soul never has the capability to understand that it is being punished / rewarded.
  15. But reincarnation has a finite limit of whatever is the lifespan of your current incarnation, no? Also, if what you say is true, how does one improve from a lower life form? For example, lets say some terrible person dies and is reincarnated as a buttworm. This buttworm lives its normal life cycle, but being a buttworm, it isnt afforded any opportunity to worship or improve its station in the hierarchy. Seems like a soul can only go down from humanity to something lower.
  16. Google tells me that 2 souls enter the great beyond every second. Now that's a busy god! I wonder, if god is all powerful, can it make infinite copies of itself?
  17. Hmm, me either. But if theres only one god then there cant be two or more different versions of what happens after you die. The line to get this sorted must be hella long.
  18. And on the same date as Elvis!
  19. Wowweewowow. So what about religions that offer reincarnation instead of afterlife?
  20. *SPOILERS / CURSING* The truth behind the ending of ‘Inception’ has finally been revealed.
  21. Winners and losers from Tuesday’s primaries: Once again, Trump is a big winner. Ruh Roh Raggy.
  22. Ive read that Paladins can really shine when multi-classed. Are you looking for a Paladin only build? Here is a character builds forum where you may find some suggestions. EDIT: Whoops, you are asking about PoE1. Disregard the above post.

  24. Fair enough, Ill give it one more hack: 1) You come to some conclusion about my post that nobody else does and then try to twist it to besmirch me. 2) Confronted on that point, you suddenly lose command of your native language AND the ability to look anything up. 3) You "liked" Amentep's post in which he clearly understands my post and provides a counterpoint, but still somehow cant understand my point. 3) Yes, I am mocking point 2 and disappointed in point 1. So, I found your claims of "me no understandy" to be disingenuous. But Im glad to see I was wrong. :brofist: EDIT: Lordy, shes a smokeshow.
