  1. I'm playing DS. I used to play Light, but now it just doesn't feel right anymore... Dark Side gives you far more offensive abilities adn can make you a Force powered slaughtering machine. Plus, LS buffs have to be recast all the time... Of course, if KotOR II still uses the Thug Side, then things'll be a little more difficult to enjoy...
  2. That's exactly the point. They thought the could use me, so they saved me. That was a horrible mistake that cost them their lives.
  3. I used to play LS only, simply because I couldn't play DS. Then I started doing it one day, and felt very guilty. About half way through the game, however, I was enjoying it greatly. I can't play LS anymore. The DS options are just too tempting... I appear to be a minority though... Most forumers here are LSers. I prefered the DS ending because I finally got the ultimate reveange on the Jedi Council. They tried to use me to overthrow the Sith? Well, all they did was reinstate me to power!
  4. As of now, I'd have to say Bastila. I she had a nice, explored backstory and personality (at least if you could get her to be herself and not Lady I art Holier Then Thou). This may change once KotOR II is released and I can more fully understand the new characters.
  5. I'm here because I have a lot of time on my hands and no new games to really suck it up with.
  6. You have a good point. I find it entirely feesible to have your ability to use the Force weakened if you go for several years without using it.
  7. I picked just KotOR 2 because I have no knowledge on what RC is. Plus, being a PC user, I wouldn't get them both on release, so if I do decide to get RC, it'll be months after KotOR 2.
  8. According to the novel Traitor, it is possible for another being to sever a Force connection.
  9. Halo is horrible on computer. Plus, you might be more inclined to 'whine' if it was X-Box that was suffering this delay. A broken promise requires a show of apology.
  10. I picked other because I was looking of Sith Soldier. It is entirely possible that he is some sort of elite Sith commando or somesuch that you can get to join you if you join the DS. Either that, or he's just a new, random NPC.
  11. I understand you B) I would prefer that KotOR have X-Box limits but be playable on PC rahter then be X-Box only. I also think that we PC gamers should indeed get some extra content. Obsidian did break their release promise to us, so we deserve some compensation.
  12. Ahh... It is always enjoyable to start a trend of sophisticated word usage. Here's a term for you to ponder: quidnunc. Anyway, PCs are more universal then consules. With consules you can have either Gamecube, PS2, X-Box, or any combination of the three whilst PCs are only PCs.
  13. In my opinion, having a multitude of romantically interested NPCs could improve the game. For those who find this disturbing, I do possess a life and a do not consider computer genertated beings to be attractive, nor do I have any attachment to them. I am purely interested in the story design factor it offers.
  14. Initially I wielded duel lightsabers, but I later came to the conclusion that a mere one lightsaber would suffice for my objectives.
  15. Wrong! End of thread. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> This is the final argument I will state, to facilitate a minimization of
  16. I am clearly much smarter than you. End of thread. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If your intellectual capacity were unmistakably superior then my own, you would not feel so predisposed towards the usage of discourteous language and instead be content with merely elucidating your outlook. Moreover, I am acquainted with a plethora of PC gamers who do not track games on-line either. You include a reasonable point concerning the extent of votes; nevertheless, your proclamation is uniformly as subjective as you indict mine of being.
  17. The poll is asking which Revan will YOU use, not what you think a preset Revan is... No one denied that it is player guided that I saw.
  18. I'm going to have a Dark Side male Revan, He'll be male because most EU Sith Lords are amle and I am as well. He'll be DS because the Dark Side is by far the better of the two if you play it as a manipulative, inteelegent type villian and not the more common KotOR thug.
  19. I agree. This thread is entirely irrelevant and inapropriate for this forum. It should be closed immediately and all further correlating threads should be terminated with extreme prejuice.
  20. I think Obsidian should take a look at this poll before they release the X-Box version first. They'd be angering a lot less people if they released the pC version first... I mean 63.95% is a large majority...
  21. I believe that it could very well be Revan. He does fit the discription of destroying the Sith during his fight back for Malak, and he could bring ultimate power to them during his reign. I seriously doubt that either Darth Vader or Palpatine would be doing much resistence after being hit by a turbolaser... Revan wasn't stupid because he suffered amnesia from a rahter nasty concussion. He is mortal and thus susceptable to such things. I agree that Revan isn't the best, but he's by no means as bad as you portray him either. Revan had no gender or face because you got to choose it. And he WAS human, so he wasn't raceless. Also, you can never get the full power of everything in a game because then you are so powerful, nothing can kill you and the game loses all its fun. Finally, you once again compare them, with some of the greatest 3 Sith Lords to ever live. Like I said, Revan isn't the best, but he's hardly the worst either. (Although Malak was absolutely horrendous) He lost all his memeory and power to a turbolaser blast. You seem to be reasonalbe about the EU. Do you believe the Unified Force theory? As for medichlorians, couldn't you just genetically replecate them and create an uber-Jedi? Fyyar did something like that to infuse people with the Force I assume. (Although Reborns can hardly be considered uber)
  22. I say it's Vrook. He's long appeare dto me like a Dark Jedi in thought. If he had his way, Revan'd be dead long before KotOR. Even if Revan was allowed to live, Vrook would never have reinstated him into the Jedi. Vrook believed that Revan was always evil and acted rather harsh and critical all the time. He always insulted you... He was a perfect target for evil.
  23. I could go either way. I wouldn't miss it if it were gone, but I wouldn't be disappointed if it were there. Just please, no ice worlds!
