Why do people watch/love "Let's play..." videos?
Chilloutman replied to Heijoushin's topic in Computer and Console
I think its supplement for a company really. When I was kid even when I played single player game there were usually some friends around and it was quite 'group play'. As we get older everyone have less and less time to do this gaming sessions so you supply it with someone else who is playing 'with you'. I often only watch lets plays of games I am currently playing or vice versa, I have bought few games that lets player is currently playing (mordheim, darkest dungeon) -
well, kind of 'funny' is that part that people which call for action now are seen as 'radical'. Well wait few years and watch how real radicals will deal with it afterwards...

I did get it too when it was on 50% sale. I must say that character models are really abysmal. Otherwise its kind of fun when I do one or two missions from time to time

I must say this is first time probably I agree with Oby

Are you really that naive or I am that cynical? It might look like they want to look 'good' by these 'free giveaways' when reality is that they dont give you anything you cant have for free using google for 5 minutes. They just force you to get into their 'origin' machine

My point as well, they respond to consumer behaviour, if you don't expect anything but greed, don't expect change. Treatment of employees for one, but this is a longer discussion of course.. I'll simply concede that I was indeed exaggerating for the point. Well, its not that simple, there are a lot of companies who want to keep good PR image if you like. They could get more money but they would ruin their own reputation. With EA on other hand, there is not much more to ruin...

Vampire: The Masquerade made by Obsidian?
Chilloutman replied to D3vN0ll's topic in Computer and Console
Then again this is also the biggest reason why I don't like the whole "Camarilla vs Sabbat" setting of Masquerade which this is where the main flaw lies. every game have some limitations, you cant expect all those aspects in game and still have same depth as they have in eg. Masquerade -
Darkest Dungeon, missing last boss on lvl 3 and then all my party is on or above level 4, lost occultist on one of my last run so I was pretty sad :/

believe in what you want and call it as you want, again, it doesnt change fact that you are using your moral compas where something is good and something is evil and i am done talking to you until you stop quoting wall of text or your post will be only thing on each page

sure they are, cant even believe that we have to explain something that basic to Bruce No they part of your definition of morality, I don't kill people because I'm " good " ...I don't kill people because I think its inherently wrong and against basic human rights even you yourself can see that you are not doing it because its evil. Morality and good or evil may be subjective, but it doesn't change that fact No once again I disagree with your premise,I don't think of my actions as " good " or " evil " Thats fine if you see things like that but its not a fact for me because both these words can be seen in a different way which fundamentally changes there definition. Do you think ISIS thinks they evil? no they dont, thats why i typed its subjective, do i have to get you definition of subjective? Okay let me try this from a different way, what is a fact in your post ?You said " it doesn't change the fact " fact is that for you killing people is evil, or are you saying that you are not doing it because its to much hassle so you just wait till they die? xD oh my, or even worse, are you not doing it only because its against the law?????

Morality and good or evil may be subjective, but it doesn't change that fact Morality (from the Latin moralitas "manner, character, proper behavior") is the differentiation of intentions, decisions, and actions between those that are distinguished as proper and those that are improper: In other words, it is the disjunction between right and wrong. Good: 1. morally excellent; virtuous; righteous; pious: a good man. 2.satisfactory in quality, quantity, or degree: a good teacher; good health. 3. of high quality; excellent. 4. right; proper; fit: It is good that you are here. His credentials are good. 5. well-behaved: a good child. 6. kind, beneficent, or friendly: to do a good deed. 7. honorable or worthy; in good standing: a good name. Evil: 1. morally wrong or bad; immoral; wicked: evil deeds; an evil life. 2.harmful; injurious: evil laws. 3. characterized or accompanied by misfortune or suffering; unfortunate; disastrous: to be fallen on evil days. 4. due to actual or imputed bad conduct or character: an evil reputation. 5. marked by anger, irritability, irascibility, etc.: He is known for his evil disposition. didnt i just typed that?

What a bizarre thing to do, this is only going to increase animosity from the Muslim community in Tajikistan Tajikistan is a muslim country you doofus Yes I know but if you read the article it says the government is secular ....I suppose I meant to say " this will increase Muslim extremism " But the whole country looks very dysfunctional on various levels Maybe they are trying to fix that dysfunction? Mind you shaving beards is just stupid but trying to get womens back to social life and push their husbands to disband shackles of oppression doesnt sound that bad. Still the way is wrong, nothing forced ever worked Well if they really wanted to fix that dysfunction then maybe the president could resign as he has been in power since 1994....and presidents for life don't work. So I dont have much time for any country that isn't prepared to fix fundamentals If anything last few years teached us its that secular 'dictator' is still better then 'democratic' fanatics in head of the religious states with very low education levels
