I can blame the west because my country colonized by the west, my people have been fighting the west for about 600 years damn it! Yeah and what, my country was fighting muslims for 600 years (Turks and Ottomans, then few crusades, some Mongols here and there... cant count everyone). And you were colonised by UK, not west. My state was occupied by russians for 40 years too. Doesnt mean I want all russian peoplo to crumble. And as you states 60 years west dont care about you and you are free to do whatever you want, yet as it seems only think you can do is using 'west' tech to attack it, even tho you can just go back to your roots on rice field, so i dont see your point at all My country is a creation after WW2, before that Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Philipine never exist...it was Empire of Melaka and Malay city states before the west ruin everything. Chillloutman what she is saying is complicated but also true ....but its hard to understand if you didn't live in country that practiced Colonialism like me I know what she means I live in country that was 40 years under communist regime of different state, we get out in 1990 from it, I think I know what I am talking about

Man learn to quote, no-one wants to read wall of text which are no longer integral to disscussion bellow Good point but can you answer the actual question Hard question, there are a lot of conditions which you need to take in account 1) refugees/immigrants which are now getting into EU are view as criminals for crossing borders 2) most of immigrants really don't want to go to state in peace, they want to get into 'rich' states which is first hint to raise eyebrow 3) people in Czech rep have lower salary than 'west' EU, so when they discover that refugee in Germany getting more money for free than they earn by work it **** them off 4) everyone 'knows' that states which allow big immigrants waves in have problems with them or their next generation (Paris, Sweden - you can argue about that but from what I seen with my own eyes its true) 5) most Czechs are 'atheists' and don't care what religion you are until you start to pestering them with it and lets face it, AKs in Mosques and hate speech were noted even in CZ where there is only 1 or 2 mosques 6) after communist era people learned how to 'smell' demagogy and totality and are really disappointed where EU is heading I can probably talk about each point individually and I really dont want to talk for all people as even among my friends there are different opinions about soem of these topics

Very Close, we can understand each other without problem (well, if you are not too young) Why did your countries separate ? By greedy politicians in 1993, but without war, which would not be possible in many of the "civilized" countries They just signed some papers, and we became two states. Actually Slovaks were very nationalist (after czechs invested tons of money to industrialise them ) but no hard feelings from Czech side, town were I live is full of Slovaks because of better job opportunities and univeristies. We are like brothers and sisters who like to tease each other from time to time
