  1. You are amusing to me.

  2. I bought SHOGO: MAD for nostalgia. I love you, Monolith.
  3. Tales of Vesperia still. It's all kinds of ballsy. How often does a JRPG protagonist . I understand Yuri's reasoning but I'm actually a little shocked, especially by which was genuinely unsettling, probably because Liam O'Brien is so ace.
  4. Bruce Willis' weave creeps me out some. I'm sure in the context of the film it works ...sure and simple way to distinguish between his character and his character's surrogate, but c'mon! They couldn't find a better rug than that?! Elton John's piece looks more convincing. Right. Of the relatively few films I've seen this year ...Moon, District 9, Inglourious Basterds, Adventureland and Star Trek have been among the best. A fine year for sci-fi.
  5. Up early for a tour around Anfield. ...I don't even like football.
  6. Arcade comes with a 250 meg memory card, if I remember right.
  7. Oh snap! Where's the content kick in, Telos? I love TSL but by the third play-through Peragus is some tough going.
  8. How's that restored content treating you?
  9. Really?! When , you mean? Yikes, I need a replay. I thought it might've played during Sarevok's Temple beat down.
  10. Baldur's Gate - ??? (this isn't Gorion's music, I don't think) LeChuck's Revenge - + + Lost Odyssey - A Mighty Enemy Appears! Omikron: The Nomad Soul - Outcast - Talanzaar (Oriental Spirit) Unreal Tournament - Strider
  11. I only play beefcakes.
  12. Just what is he selling then, advice? Well you leave your two bucks where they are, mister. Let them mature over time in a high interest ISA.
  13. B.A.T. II - The Koshan Conspiracy Early open ended space romp. And you can get pulled over for speeding.
  14. So how about that Mass Effect. Is that Rahna bunk confirmed? Because if so Kaiden's going to spin his nut. ...if he's alive.
  15. What makes me laugh is that they rumbled him on his way to some lifetime achievement award or other.
  16. Darn straight! Sure, my brother and me competed it only six hours after I bought it, but it was like a team building exercise, it closened us up but good. Or so I thought, I asked him about it recently and that stupid chrome dome couldn't remember! ... Anyway, Tales of Vesperia.
  17. Amon Tobin's Chaos Theory soundtrack is pretty special, El Cargo especially. Even dirtbikedouglas says it's dope. I kinda dig Mass Effect's OST too, it has that old school Vangelis vibe to it.
  18. Very true, I hadn't even considered how often they recycled boss fights. At least we had Scarecrow to vary things up a little.
  19. I've been playing this a fair bit recently, I've been pretty darn impressed so far. Me too. The Riddler questing is by the far the bit I've most enjoyed, I managed to track down all 240(?) challenges. Not all that great an accomplishment considering Nigma sign posts them for you himself if you find his maps. I admit I GameFAQ'd at least once to find . What gives, game! That said, I didn't think much of the final boss fight.
  20. Arkham Asylum. I like how the further you progress through story mode, the more haggard Batman looks. Nice touch.
  21. I'm not adverse to mature themes and characters in games, they've been handled well before (Bloodlines, Witcher). This feels a little juvenile though, the same kind of schtick we've seen in Dragon Age. I reserved judgement, I guess.
  22. Hmm. I'm not so sure about Miranda being paragon. In an interview with Jesse Houston she's described as aggressive with anger issues to boot. Then again Jarrett seems to suggest that NPC morality is more flexible this time around, some sort of influence system maybe? Either way, my Shep won't be introducing Sub Zero to his mother any time soon.
  23. Holy potato! Subject Zero, eh? Another renegade. Where are all the nice people at? Also, 10 party members is confirmed.
  24. Hah! Great stuff that. Muse's The Resistance released recently and in the promo they included a quote stating that the album was "...a streak of utter brilliance." The actual review reads, "Exogenesis is a streak of utter brilliance across The Resistance's beguiling, inconsistent sky..." Anyway, I'm not sure where Michael Foster's coming from or what he was expecting from Alpha Protocol but at least he didn't compare it to Fallout 3.
  25. Yeah, it's quirky and French in the best possible sense. The only issue I've had so far is the bad audio track error, the game won't read music from the cd. I've managed to hamfist my way though with trial and error but according to wikipedia there is a workaround using CPU Grabber. Also, Planet Adelpha has some unofficial patches which I'm reluctant to try. I'll give them a go I think and let you know how bad they fritz up my game. EDIT: Found this also. I got off lucky maybe, I didn't have any installation problems.
