It has been awhile since we upgraded the fora infrastructure. for the last year Admin has been busy with lots else, but the Bot issue finally pushed toward this recent upgrade. I cannot guarantee 'hopes' will be implemented, but broken or non-functioning aspects will be dealt with asap based on feedback! F

When The Tech Files were started, most game required manual download of updates - that paradigm has shifted to such an extent that patched are often no longer hosted publicly. Rather, games auto-update, and as such a resource for patch resources no longer feels necessary. The Tech Files will, therefore, continue to host PC/OS environment utilities & software.
