You can see a Hack n' Slash game come from a mile away, usually its all the hyping about combat, skills,spell and not a thing about the gaming world or the story that give em away.. You can see it on the "features" that they supply retailers with, a good game like PsT or K2 will have atleast 2-3 dibs about story, character etc while your garden variety slasher will have 0-1

Any developers dream is to be able to independantly finance and release their games without the pressure and interfearance from a publisher. But with companies like LucasArts and Atari that survive by owning licenses, developers dont even have the possibility of a choice. You want to make a Star Wars game, you have to go through LA. You want to make a D&D game, say hello to your new pal Atari. EA though, is by far the worst now that they own the rights to every major sports thing on the planet.

Another delicate problem, I found the most beautiful armour ever but its "evil only" so I need to change aligment in order to wear it, and the question is: Will my aligment have any effect on the game? p.s I curse BioWare for their poor taste in underware textures, hows my heroine suppose to look cool in a grey diaper?

It couldnt be completely original of course, you'd have to piece it together from an existing set of limbs, torso, etc. That would be fully possible. And you dont really need to show the transformation in a very detailed way, so you could just have some blurry animation and "bam!" youre ready to roll out. Btw, You're a 3D mojo maker, Oerwinde. Havent you designed any cool Transformers of your own?

The comic is alright up until around issues 40-50+ where it seems the sole purpouse is to introduce atleast one new toyline each month, they're not even trying to make good stories. Now Im looking at #56 where they introduce some micro transformers and they are EXACTLY like the toys, weird hinges in place and everything. Its like Hasbro just dumped toys in their office and said "next months cmic is about these guys. knthnxbye!"

Does anyone else feel like the original G1 comic went down the tube around issue #50 (1988) ? Ive been rereading them and 70% of the stories are just fillouts that have nothing to do with the real storyline like Autobots in the space circus, Pretenders vs. The Mecha-cannibals or Microcons in the WWF.

WTF?! Doesnt ANYONE care about things like story and characters anymore? Its like the recipe for an RPG these days seem to be -lots of fighting -levelling so you can fight better -lots of loot to help you buy sh*t to fight better -maybe some generic excuse for a story for those strange people who wants a reason for the fighting

" (Its totally sweet and awesome, btw :D) One writer, one penciller, one inker, several colorists and for LD the penciller actually does the layout himself manually(everything is drawn in place on the page, not separately and added together later in a layout program like you normally do)

Im trying to remeber which Transformer figures I had as a child but its difficult to find a site that has good pictures of the actual toys in both robot and vehicle shape. But its really cool because I found a few Id forgotten I had and that triggers some pretty strong childhood memories, you remember lots of stuff like exactly how my friend Jens basement smelled like or what the wood-carpenting-classroom felt like at 9am Oh, and did those boombox Transformers like Blaster or Soundwave actually play tapes or sampled sound or something? cant recall.
