  3. The way it works is that we first bash a game on release, then after a couple of years we elevate it to god-status. This goes for all games, not just crpgs.
  4. There's also some clip floating around cyberspace called "from real action transformer movie"(or something like that) I think it featured a Jazz-like white car transform. Know what that is, Oerwinde?

  7. I saw it again today and the dialouge is really unprofessional and very uneven. Its like an amateur wrote it, there are loads of unsuitable dialouge and remarks that doesnt fit in with the mood of the conversation.
  8. I just got a call from one of the teachers, a female 3D guru(!) She said that my chance of getting in is about 75% and thats before they've even checked that all applicants are authorized(I am). I asked her if sending in my 2D stuff(paintings etc.) was of any consequence and she said it was, since they look more to creativity and artistic talent than my modelling skills. Makes sense, thats what Im there to learn.

  10. I know its wrong to feed trolls, but it makes for great entertainment. :D If commercial success is a measure of one's talent, Bill Gates is the worlds best programmer. "
  11. Although his role as supposed leader of an international terror network has been greatly exaggerated, Osama Bin Laden has said: "If Bush say we hate freedom, the let us explain why we didnt attack, for an example, Sweden.."
  12. Because PC pwns consoles in every single way. Except maybe in the way that the consoles companies rob us of good games by making them console exclusive.
  13. There needs to be a "run after him, righteously chop him down and return the credits to the mother and child" alternative on the bounty hunter. And the cheating spouse question is very odd. Also lacking a "The traitorous wench!! She'll pay for this!" alternative.
  14. Hey, that sounds kind of familiar.. "
  15. Why dont you go to Theatres? Its great. Do you have a lot of bisarre OCD's or Agoraphobia or similar? ..and I didnt rush to see RotS ...and I think it was pretty good, but I think someone else could have done it better.

  21. Its a shame my never finished novel is in Swedish, otherwise Id love to bore you with 80 000 words of lovely nature descriptions and poorly paced story. I think I took the decisions to drop it after I read Coetzee. There he is making a masterpiece out of mashed potatoes, while Im meticulously carving a granite mastodont that doesnt ever seem to go anywhere.
  22. It was very, very, very large. Not easy for a non-IE using man like me who cant resize pictures to fit the screen
  23. Starwars - check. Indiana Jones - check. The films where he plays Jack Ryan even when he isnt Jack Ryan - check. what have I missed?
  24. The idea of Democracy appears sound, but if you look to the realities it becomes more complex. Very few(if any) countries have democracies who are not Oligarchian in some way, and many elected representatives sympathise with deeply undemocratic ideas such as the neo-conservative Straussianism. And can we really trust people to take mature, informed decisions at all times? In fact, is it responsible to allow people to vote if thats not the case?
