  1. If you havnt seen it imagine a TV remote or follow this link http://www.eurogamer.net/view_screenshot.p...vcontroller.jpg The slot at the bottom takes a variety of attachments the anologue one has been demonstrated (although its not shown). It does kind of remind me of the gizmo that controls our bed as well. It's kind of weird after looking at gamepads, but Nintendo has basically dictated how games were played from the time of the famicom , so who knows it could be time for a change. I reckon out of all the consoles, this is going to be the only one where you will see some actual innovation rather than next gen versions of previous titles (albeit improved ones). Come to think of it, this should have been a poll, oh well bugger it. Comment away.
  2. Oh well at least you got a new sig out of it. Not a total waste. Maybe Epiphany is more suited to stand up comedy
  3. Thanks thats useful stuff. So I take it from that the outfits dont matter only the members?
  4. A console is simply a computer built to one standard specification. What seperates it from a PC is you cant simply stick in some new bits when the mood takes you.
  5. Thats pretty average looking. If you showed it to me I'd say it was an Xbox screenshot.
  6. Oh well I dont follow the Xmen except to watch the odd cartoon so it was purely by chance I came across it.
  7. I discovered something earlier on. Depending on which characters you choose (may also have something to do with the skin too) you get a named team and a team bonus. Storm Wolverine Bishop Sunfire come up as the new Xmen and give a 15% health bonus. There are probably others too.
  8. It's like TSR all over again..
  9. Storm cant build bridges. I've been using her with maxed whirlwind(for level) and wind mastery and aside from bosses nothing stays on the ground very long. There are a couple of puzzles only rouge seems to be able to solve. Requiring flight and strength. The game really gives off too much of a fantasy vibe. Too many caves, temples and stuff like that and not enough city.
  10. I'd expect something from Nintendo this generation. The rev controller can take a mic in it's accessory socket (as well as a bunch of other stuff, you probably saw the analogue controller already). Given the success of Nintendogs and the fact that the revs controller can act much like a stylus (or more accurately a laser pointer) the mechanics for Nintendogs Revolution are already there. Oh and I swear this is just me speculating it has nothing to do with the thing I couldnt mention.

  12. Substitute roll over and sit for those and thats me screaming at a Nintendog.
  13. I see, your talking about something like an advanced boot disk of sorts which you could choose to load only relevent things into (rather than all that crap windows keeps running).
  14. Glad to hear it. Couldnt agree more. None of the PSP games screem handheld and I havnt really found one suited to short bursts of gaming. The battery life is not much use on a long trip either.
  15. Crap might be going a bit far. But I expect there will be some loss of clarity.
  16. I hope they didnt have to cut the intro movie short.
  17. Yes it does a bit. It's still very good in that role though. I'm waiting for the PSP to TV adapter so I can watch all my imported anime without a magnifying glass (w00t) It's also not bad as far as convergence units go. I think the DS is ahead as a portable gaming system though.
  18. Snapped the anologue stick off the first.. Second got crushed in the airport Third I put into my pocket and it scratched on a pen. When you have been used to a GBA and DS which you can pretty much run over with a truck, the PSP is like carrying around an egg. Actually most of the people I know who have one, use it as more of a home system which dosnt tie up a TV rather than as a portable.
  19. No I've just managed to break 3 PSP's. Well break two and scratch a third. I actually dropped my DS in the airport and it just bounced.
  20. Storytime We are playing Xmen II this moring and now we are in the 20's we have all these powers but still only 4 face buttons on the controller. Then I started thinking about Nintendogs, you can train the dog with upto 14 different tricks and they respond based on your voice alone, no having to cycle through commands to get to the one you want (which is probably on the wrong button anyway). Now granted the recognition software in the DS isnt perfect but if it can handle Nintendogs, then more refined software should be able to handle anything which involves spoken voice commands. I'm actually aware of something to this effect, but not allowed to say Anyways, think of areas where voice commands could replace having to cycle through multiple menu layers and or the need to only choose a small selection of commands because the controller dosnt have enough buttons. Also think of how much less clunky it will be to say "fireball" rather than have to dig through to find it.
  21. http://shop.gameplay.co.uk/webstore/index.asp I didnt even know there were that many PSP's in the UK. Let alone enough to claim the top spot for Fifa (which is realsed on bloody everything). I'm already on my fourth one. Delicate is definately a word that springs to mind.
  22. It dosnt matter if it's censored or not, it's whether or not you found it particularly offensive.
  23. Bought this on friday and to be honest finding it kind of dull. We enjoyed the first one, but even multiplayer this one dosnt seem to grab. Got upto chapter III and so far the only time anyone has died is by accidently flying off the map. Probably going to be returing it but before we do , what characters did you find interesting and why ?
  24. Simple enough thats why there is a report button.
