Go bury your head in the sand like the clueless loser you are. I seriously doubt your old enough to have co workers since you regurgitate your technical information from other sources

What does this eldritch blast do anyway ?

I knew someone would. Didnt think it would be you though.

Yes but since I'm not a fanboy I dont have to defend anything I just tell it like it is. It just happens that Sony is doing things right and MS is doing things wrong when it comes to next gen. Full backwards compatibility - right Iffy backwards compatibility - wrong. A new storage media - right. An obsolete storage media which leads to people running out of room before the console even hits the streets - wrong. Sorry if you cant deal with that but thats how it is. The only reason people pounce is because you slamming tends to be innacurate and just plain wrong. "

Still none of them are equal to FMV so the only stupid one here is you I'm afraid. With more space on Blu Ray the FMV is only going to get better too. It's still priceless after you constantly extolling the virtues of the 360 , you had to fall back on killzone

Yep thats another fantastic one. Even more impressive when you consider it's on a handheld. Ocarina of time is more action adventure than RPG. Personally I think it's the best game ever though it just had so much content packed in there.

Shining Force was re released on the GBA as Ressurection of Dark Dragon. More story this time around and some new characters but essentially the same game. The game gets harder the more you complete it if your into that sort of thing. http://www.gamestation.co.uk/product.asp?id=101254607659589 I played Shining Soul too , which was ok but nothing really special. Hand held Diablo although MP is fun. http://shop.gameplay.co.uk/webstore/produc...shining_soul_ii

Try Tales of Symphonia. It's got a ton of sidequests, two worlds and two huge maps (comes on two disks) It's also got one of the most endearing characters I've ever seen who suffers the more you accomplish which is pretty horrible. It's a bittersweet sort of game, so not for people who like upbeat and happy. It's not TB , rather it uses a mixture of magic and skills which use up AP. Combat is very entertaining for the most part and pretty hard.

Ys was the last one I played lots of fun although the fight before the end boss was better than the end boss, after taking out the globes I couldnt really tell whether or not anything was happening till I got the victory cinematic.

Have you tried the various robot wars homepages ?

Got to give him props for making such an MS fanboy defend Sony. Not to mention that the best example of next gen graphics was on the PS3 thats was pretty priceless. <just not a laugh icon big enough for this one>

Can you remember your first post ?

Great thanks. I have to order it before 4 if I want it by Thursday.

If anyone has played it, could they give a quick rundown on what has changed from the first part pls ?

Weird choice not having a HD. After having one on the Xbox its like a step back. You have to be a bit of a Sony fanboy (as well as dellusional) to not see the faster load times. You may get some stutter as it reads I expect, depending on how the data is stored. On the PS2 you get blank spaces sometimes for a few seconds mostly when you switch to stat screens and the like on some games. Not a huge issue, but if your used to the instantaneous nature of a HD you are going to notice it.

I'm still wondering how it will run without a HD

Epiphany lives in his own little reality anyway. You have about as much chance of getting common sense out of him as you do getting Osama Bin Laden to convert to Christianity. I'd say that depends on how much screen time. You can make a strong character in say KOTOR when you have them around all the time, but Kreia is by far the strongest character there because she gets the most screentime. GOTO is probably the weakest character , although in what order you do the planets will effect how much time you spend with a certain character. TES games because you spend them mostly alone the characters need to make a much stronger impression on you. I think the Olivion characters are all fully voiced , it would be pretty odd if they were not.

It will be a space elf so it wont count :D -
Pretty good now thanks, almost back to normal.

I'll have a look this afternoon. You could always PM or email someone at Obsidian and ask them nicely to post a screenshot or two. It's going to be a lot higher quality than a grainy scan.

Give this one a whirl if your looking for a non typical JRPG. This innovative RPG takes players on a journey of survival, adventure and mystery. After a disastrous incident at sea, the young hero of the game awakens to find himself on a seemingly uninhabited island. After meeting another survivor, a 17-year old girl who has also drifted ashore, the two must work together to survive. While planning their escape, the two will learn survival skills, such as hunting, searching for food and building tools while uncovering the island's many mysteries. Features: Survival game based on the relationship of two main characters - the hero and the heroine - who are trapped on a mysterious deserted island Search and obtain items by utilizing the innovative Nintendo DS touch panel Numerous activities such as fishing, hunting, trapping and cooking make living on the island fun - while also providing innovative mini-games Survival depends on sharing responsibilities between the main character and NPCs - each character's actions will affect the dialogue and events in the game Dual Phase System - After clearing the game as the hero, the player can play as the heroine and gain a completely different gameplay experience Multiple game endings depending on the two players' lifestyle, relationship, dialogue and their manner of escape

As I said in another post they bother me when I'm trying to solve a puzzle since I want to focus all my attention on it. Otherwise I find getting the most out of the battles is the best approach. Ditto I look for different experiences in each game, I think if your look for the same experience you will be disapointed. That said I was pretty disapointed with Jade Empire for a number of reasons (lots of gameplay ones). I'm one of the other five people on the planet. Nothing pisses me off more than having to make those sorts of choices for a character that isnt mine. I dont like the old amnesia shtick just to make it possible either.

Not a bad way to approach things. It might suprise some people (no one who has been around here for a while though) but I used to absolutely loathe the things. Because I was approaching them with a traditional RPG mindset all I saw was how restrictive they were whilst completely overlooking the positives. It was only when I wached my wife (girlfriend at the time) play FFX and just watch the story unfold that I got totally hooked. If anyone had told me I could experience that level of emotion from a game I would have laughed in their faces before that. Since even traditional RPGs are becoming more and more restrictive anyway when it comes to what freedoms you get with your character the JRPGs became more and more appealing to me.
