Yes. Then people can start an uproar over "Cold Frappuccino."

System Shock 2 locking up? Do you have a P4 with Hyper-Threading? If so, you need to go into Task Manager after SS is loaded and right-click on SShock2.exe and in Set CPU Affinity deselect one.

What is your favourite racing game?
Darth Barth replied to Mr. Brightside's topic in Computer and Console
Car racing? Or racing in general? Racing in general would be Excitebike or Road Rash. -
I played at launch. I didn't renew. Thank God I didn't subscribe for 1 year. A year or so later, I was convinced to play again. "Dude, they have swoop bikes now.. no more crazy hiking!" The fun lasted a day. My Point: don't do crazy upgrades just for this game.

I have unlocked Colgate with Triclosan +2

Two words: Dink Smallwood.

They should put advertisements in the loading screens. And throw in subliminal messages in the battle music. "Whew.. that was a tough demon. I strangely feel unfresh and need to pick up some Summers Eve."

That is a game I wouldn't refer to in the positive.

Something similar happened to me awhile back. To fix the problem I started taking melatonin and Valerian root about 30 minutes before bedtime. I've had the most intense dreams since I began taking these two supplements. FYI, for melatonin, a little goes a long way. 1 mcg is sufficient for most people.

The only thing I can say about tutorial beginnings is this: Do not have those that complete the tutorial gain something extra. For example, in the Bloodlines tutorial you gain an extra exp point. For completists like me, this presents a problem when I remake a character. Kotor 2 had a great tutorial in that the rewards you got were just items and it didnt focus on the main character.

What are you talking about? There are no control problems. The controls are usually the same from console to computer to arcade.

What old game would you like to see..

Crusader: No Remorse (or it's sequel, Crusader: No Regret) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I loved those games. Too bad about Crusader: No Mercy. I wanted multiplayer, dammit! -
Havok Taps Multicore Processing Power

Things are finally starting to become interesting again in the PC market. PPU, dual core, Intel likely to adopt Hyper-Transport, etc.. -
I don't see how you do that on the main page, and from their FAQ: How do you sign up? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I went to Google.com and search gmail. The first link is gmail.google.com. Hmm.. thats strange. I go back in my history and this link here Mysterious google link now says account already created. Thats weird. I dont know what to say. I am logged into my gmail account right now. Its got the starter email from the Gmail Team. Odd. I didnt use any codes or invites. On the page there was a link that said something like "No account?" which has mysteriously vanished. EDIT: Im already late for work.. Ill try to recreate my steps there with another account there.
-
I hate to break up the fun non-invite party, but from what I can tell Gmail is public now. I went to www.gmail.com and then created a Google account and I now have Gmail. No invites or secret handshakes or anything like that. I'll never use it but I can say I have it. Free POP3 is cool but kind of pointless for me since the last email program I used was Eudora Pro and then only for bbs.
-
What is the difference between being invited and just going to gmail.com and signing up like I just did?

And I thought being in a streetsweeping caste was bad.

AMD has been putting the hurt on Intel lately. Intel is still dominant, but just as Mozilla is gaining ground on IE, Pentium sales have been on the decline for quite a bit. It has been pointed out in this thread that this lawsuit is geared towards oem manufacturers so what DIY-ers purchase doesnt factor in. My head tells me that the marketplace will work itself out and AMD shouldnt even have bothered. My gut, however, tells me that this lawsuit couldn't have happened to a better company. This is coming for a guy that runs a P4, btw.

I am a Mastermind. It's somewhat funny because the description for Mastermind fits me quite well. Apt, even. Summary of Masterminds * Visionaries who put energy into achieving their goals * Prefer to work independently and dislike inefficiency * Think of themselves as logical, thorough, and bright * Values practicality and common sense above ideas and theories More about Masterminds Masterminds create a vision for the future by gathering and organising information. They then develop strategies to achieve their goals. They have a rare gift for looking at almost anything and seeing how it can be improved. These skills and the Masterminds' high standards often allow them to reach leadership positions at work. Masterminds value independence and prefer to work on their own. Once they have decided on a course of action, Masterminds rarely change their minds, although they can be persuaded by clear reasoning by someone they respect. In situations where they can't use their talents or are unappreciated, Masterminds may cut themselves off from a group and criticize people who don't understand their plans. Under extreme stress, Masterminds may overindulge in sensory experiences like eating, shopping or watching television. Masterminds often have an unusual sense of humour, which arises from their ability to spot surprising links between seemingly unconnected facts.

Automan. Crap show. -
I work in a smallish computer shop. I've been here much longer than anticipated and my life has lanquished for doing so. At the very least, I have gathered enough material for my novel.

Well, I have seen people actually cry from losing a dagger in WoW. People need to get lives or something. Its a good thing many of those caught in MMO havent really discovered better living through chemistry. -
Duke Nukem Forever Being Released

And I'm willing to bet a solid 75% of those people never played an RE until they got their hands on RE4. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think you are crazy for not liking RE4. By the time RE0 came out, I was tired of the series, just plain bored of it all. Even Silent Hill has started to become old hat. Scary moments tend to be ones you cannot predict and are unprepared for, RE4 delivered that for me. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Are you channeling ender? I NEVER said I didn't like it  I said it wasn't a survival horror game. It's a dumbed down, baby game with no challenge. It plays as a decent action movie... but it's crap as far as a "survival horror" game goes. No horror, and no "survival". <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ah. I see your point on it being somewhat easy. Not so much on the horror part, though.
