For sure, PoE will be massive, like Half-Life 2 for Valve, and then Obsidian will open their own digital distribution portal that shames Origin and Uplay, for one because it's so cool with a name like Fracture,® and two because you can download PSN and XBL games right to your console.
It could happen.

I'd love to see the Endless Paths to have at least one part where a natural cave system had broken into the dungeon and taken over. It would have spread funky, blue-glowing mushrooms and fungi giving the entire level a dim, eerie, blue glow that casts all in an unnatural light. The main struggle for the PCs here would not be monsters, but the fungi itself, fighting either mind control effects, or decreasing stamina when in its reach, or it simply making all tasks harder, particularly scripted interactions.
Fungi are awesome.
mmm, it's been awhile. 25mph down University on motorcycles at night seemed closer to 80mph through a gauntlet of the brightest streetlights on the planet.
Blackreach in Skyrim already has gigantic blue-glowing mushrooms in a dim, eerie cavern/dungeon. But at least Od Nua would be a guaranteed better setting.

I just don't see how securing unlimited development capability is a bad thing for any product.

Well that is disturbingly humorless irony, but what kind of insurance coverage doesn't provide for vandalism. I thought "acts of god" was the only real indemnity trapdoor.

Tendered my resignation, today. Lasted three years, eleven months. It's not nearly as grandiose as 'tendered' and 'resignation' sound. Hard work and loyalty get you nowhere, I have discovered, so might as well jump off a cliff and see how deep it goes. If I had kids, I probably wouldn't do scary things like this, but, c'est la vie.
Looking forward to the Masters golf tournament this weekend, if nothing else.

Could we ... are there any tastefully appointed photographs of the Duchess. They showed a few of Princess Kate sailing a yacht on the national news tonight ... I seriously cannot remember a more perfect post-child posterior in the history of womankind. She is just impossibly beautiful, I must say.

I tend to silently congratulate a fit man for earning the privilege to wear a tank top. It's the saggy soft guys with no regard for the eyes of the rest of us that deserve unmitigated labeling.

No way. There is no way--no possible way in any universe--Agent Ward is as what was implied.
If it is somehow true, I will be forced to gesticulate wildly at the TV and loudly sigh multiple times.

Good skin is so hard to come by, I just don't understand covering it up so.
Lena Headey is in GoT? She is the all-time hottest of hot. Next to Gwyneth and Diane Lane.

AoS - wasn't expecting all of that (figured out some things as the ep went along, but still...wow!)
Talk about a "nothing will be the same" episode...
If you can't find a way to make your show interesting for 17 out of 22 episodes, then it is not because "this is how it needs to set up". It's because you have a piss-poor creative team.
Hail HYDRA!!

Yeah, but then it's cool, like a new language class, the straight-forward parts. Then you get into it, and you're like, okay Turdas is real. Today is Turdas. But then it's not, it's Monday.

Smart Car tipping is straight up Funny Things thread.

The clinic I go to is awesome. They are super quick with walk-ins, they charge a reasonable rate, and the service is great. They also seem to have a thing for hiring hot Russian doctors. I've been helped by this older Russian female doctor before, but this time she had a student doctor shadowing her that was also gorgeous. It was hilariously distracting. They also had me fill out a survey and then gave my $5. So I walked out with cash and a few prescriptions for an inhaler and codiene cough syrup. Yay for me.
What the ... that place sounds like a spam email come to life. What kind of gentleman's clinic is that ...
I'm not sick at all, thank god, and I've been walking around you carrier hosts all year.

I'll see your surreal Nobody and raise you a surrealier Stranger Than Fiction with an un-Will Ferrell and a bakerette Maggie Gyllenhaal.
oops, and a peak Emma Thompson, I forgot.

Oh, no! What happened! No, don't tell me ... SHIELD was reduced to a small BUCKLER.
I better see Cap 2 on Monday, before Tuesday's episode.

I had no idea black Irishmen even existed.

The mega dong eon. It was a turgid period.

I wish it were Tuesday, already, so I could watch the Unextended Edition of The Desolation of Smaug ... like, twice.
You know what is completely bonkers, is that these two shots are of the same actor:
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey
Captain America: The First Avenger

That is a pretty, pretty shot, but I can't figure out why the deep shadows across the water don't match up to anything onshore.

Oh yeah, it's freaky fruity froo-froo Friday. Least that's what I'm saying to lessen the unmanly stigma. Sam Adams Cherry Wheat ale, to start, and then something called Angry Orchard hard cider, including 5% bottles of apple ginger, crisp apple, green apple, and elderflower--which is somehow related to apples, I am presuming. So far, the ginger is outstanding.

Oh, hmm ... chronic sanity. Clever term, I think. Or additionally the inability to "wake up" from chronic sanity, is depression. Video games, movies, and books seem to be the best way for me to shore up imagination, and thus alleviate lingering sanity. For a few moments, at least, I am the one leveling up and progressing in a positive direction. From the other thread, I should be thankful it's not excessive eating that pretends to do the same.

Not real Norse, Marvel Asgard. There's like, three times as many authorities here in that universe.

Saw that same McLaren roadcar on the freeway again ... if there are five of them in this whole county of three million, I'd be surprised. Had no markings for model designation, but was brand new, nice deep maroon color, strangely with a handicap tag and a small USMC insignia on the rear glass.

Well I didn't even recognize him, Wormtongue, Brad Dourif on SHIELD. I did recognizer the bits of TRON musical score they used to enhance the episode's outro preview for next week ... Disney reusing elements from unrelated universes, feels weird.

Where is that Canadian, anyway. Haven't seen him for weeks. Probably has a job, or something. Or making a new Allan Plays Goat Simulator.
