Gunner ability
Veynn replied to savior99's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
Only for weapons that need to be reloaded like Pistol, Arquebus, Blunderbuss, Arbalest. -
I found out that the devs scrapped the feature where crafting must be done on specific locations like crafting weapons on forges, creating scrolls on tables, cooking food on kitchens and campfire. I kinda liked the idea since it feels role-playing-ish. It seems like these were scrapped for the sake of convenience. It's also the same reason why some people hate going through 2-3 maps just to rest in the player house. I really don't mind travelling to areas to do something like crafting or resting. It's just the loading times are so goddamned long.

Damn! I need to see the patch notes!

Man, the horror. So the game that we're playing now costs $4 million. Maybe a little less. But imagine PoE without the following: - No stronghold - No Cipher, Barbarian, Paladin, Chanter - Minus 2 class, 3 race, 2 npc companion (no monk and ranger? - no Amaua, Orlan, Godlike? - no Grieving Mother and Kana?) - No Twin Elms - Only 3-5 levels of Endless Paths - No Full Party Creation - No PotD, Expert, Ironman - No Brighthollow - No Crafting and Enchanting - No Mac and Linux ports - No new region (Eir Glanfath?) - No new faction (minus 1 Defiance Bay faction?) - No whatever George Zeits has contributed - No live instrumentation for ost. Would you still play Pillars of Eternity?

I don't think they're gonna upgrade to a new engine any time soon.

Beta should be up any day now since they're aiming for a May release of the patch.

Maybe it works like this. If you have a level 3 character and land a last blow to a level 9 enemy, that counts as a powerful enemy defeated. But if you have a level 12 character and kill a level 12 enemy, it wont count, even if you kill the Adra Dragon or Thaos. But I still think there's a bug. It makes no sense that you won't have Adra Dragon or Thaos appear as the most powerful enemy in the end game personal record.

more like: *random hobo puts on Woedica mask, and walks inside Leaden Key's HQ* Hobo: "I'm your new leader." Leaden Key people: "Since you're wearing a Woedica mask, it must be true. All hail our new leader!" It might work! Since Aloth didn't burn Thaos' robes, unlike his other ending, he might pull it off. The Leaden Key bastards might think Aloth bested Thaos and acquired his robes and mask. lol

I also believe that Crippling Strike was also made for the Ranged Rogue since it debuffs the move speed of the enemy. And at the same time it creates the condition for it's own sneak attack, especially if you're going solo. So I really don't think sneak attack conditions are pointless. It also creates a mechanic just like conditions for Monks and Cipher to execute their skills.
