  1. I've experienced the "zoom bug" as well. For me, it happens after I make a savegame, either a hard save or quicksave. Reloading a save fixes it, as does entering a new area through a load screen (like a house, for example).
  2. The video is great! The game appears to be shaping up nicely. I'm having some problems with the backer portal, though. I was getting the "500 - Kerflufflupogus attack" error, and some of the "An error occurred processing your order. Please try again later. If the problem persists, please contact us." one when trying to log in. Now I'm logged in, but still getting the latter error when trying to finalize my order. I'll give it some more time before sending a support ticket.
  3. I was really torn on this one, but eventually settled on Nope.
  4. Everyone knows the best soundtrack ever is from Winter Games for the NES. IT SPEAKS TO YOUR SOUL! YOUR SOOOOOUUUL! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HtJAh0SlTS8
  5. His head got in da way of mah bullets. (from Max Payne 3, obviously)
  6. Sure, I could list a bunch of good game soundtracks from over the years, but I thought instead I'd shed some light on a little-known orchestral remake I found awhile back. It's the city theme from Dungeons and Dragons: Warriors of the Eternal Sun for the Sega Genesis. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PG2z6HcVQDY
  7. Oh, THAT shirt...my bad. But yes, it's another good day for gaming.
  8. Nah man, they've made the shirts one of their addons now. You only need a base pledge of $10 or more for them. They've put all the addon stuff on the main page of the KS, just scroll down a bit. And, if you miss out (there's only 10 hours left right now), you can still use paypal on their website later.
  9. Yep. Not a bad game overall. I thought the gameplay got a bit stale after awhile, but I enjoyed the surreal artwork.
  10. Thinking of upgrading, but the only higher reward I want is the backer t-shirt, and I can't really justify going to 200 $ and not buying gifts (for other people) It's 15k now... I've never actually played any of the numerous Shadowgate ports over the years, I just happen to like the idea of a D&D inspired adventure game. And although I was lucky enough to get in early and secure one of the coveted early bird slots, I went ahead and upped my pledge for the digital goodies. I've grown to really like the art style of the project. Chris Cold's digital paintings are pretty cool. Between the wallpapers and the 60 page art book, I'll have a lot of nice backgrounds for my PC. Plus, the soundtrack seems promising too. A lot of people keep mentioning how awesome and classic the NES music was. Here's hoping the project meets it's goals, I'm optimistic that it will.
  11. Uh, sorry for the double post, but apparently I can't edit my previous one, or I'm just a dumbass and don't know how. But yeah, The Witcher 2 is just that good...but I wanted to come back and add that the original Witcher game is only $2.50!
  12. Yes, that's a steal. To anyone who buys it at such a low price, may I suggest that you make a modest donation to the charity of your choice to overcome the crushing guilt you will undoubtedly feel.
  13. Only 4 days left for the Shadowgate Kickstarter and $20k left to go!
  14. I kinda like the elves in The Witcher setting. They're a little less cliche, and they too have the second class citizen thing going like the DA elves. But as an added twist, they have militarized groups of freedom fighters (or terrorists, as some humans would say) that would attack human cities and raid caravans. It makes for some interesting politicking.
  15. I'll just leave this here. 5 Very Good Reasons to Punch a Dolphin in the Mouth
