  1. Actually, it's a point, i've always been curious as to why NWN2 raises the temperature of my CPU significantly more than most other games.
  2. Memento Mori
  3. haha, Llyranor and I were drooling over that game like, two years ago. Good to see it didn't die.
  4. If i'm understanding correctly it seems to be very miniture focused. That could lend itself well to games. I'll have to read up.
  5. Yeah, Opposing Force was a fairly awsome reinterpretation of a game that left a lot to live up to.
  6. As poorly qualified as I am to build a true community of spirit and purpose based on mutual respect and caring, I hope you will bear with me while I begin this sincere and earnest attempt. And please don't get mad with me if, in doing so, I must reveal some shocking facts about your complaint . In the text that follows, I don't intend to recount all of the damage caused by your complaint's raving strictures but I do want to point out that your complaint's faculty for deception is so far above anyone else's, it really must be considered different in kind as well as in degree. To recapitulate, it's time for your complaint to get back on the reality bus.
  7. Which would be a miricle if you were on the same team.
  8. <3 Architect.
  9. They both have fur, it must be true! They are related though, the same guy who said 'hey, lets give the badarse pilot a pet who's actually a seven foot tall missing link' also said 'and this time we need somthing cute, for the kiddies'. Or yeah, what Tale said.
  10. I'll laugh when this turns out to be a vista exclusive title.
  11. You support democracy, lets take a vote on that.
  12. Blocking me into grenades counts.
  13. Actually, a freak accident means that the words and meanings for 'teamwork' and 'team-killing backstabbing jerk' have been mixed up for him.
  14. Built this. It's meant for an animation, so it breaks and all the parts are fully movable, but I kinda got carried away on the detail. Guess I'll animate tomorrow instead
  15. I'd just get distracted by the girth slider
  16. Oh Sawwwwyer I DISAGREE *zoom*
  17. none of us could join your game
  18. This is a day of kings, and reminds me that I still bloody need to read the fables of Mr. Jerusalem.
  19. hahahahahahahhahaha
  20. Yeah, i'm not defending the guy and don't care if his leadership abilities compounded the fact that there was no money available for QA or not.
  21. I suspect that those saying 'it can be the programmers fault' are those who've never actually done any real programming. It's not passing the buck, there is such a thing as bad programming, but programmers DO check their own code. The real problem comes with conflicts with other peoples code and conflicts with hardware on which the code hasn't been tested. Full games that havn't been properly QAed are ALWAYS unstable, ALWAYS. Look at KotoR2, look at Hidden and Dangerous. Likewise, the reason why console games are so relatively unbuggy is the fact that the hardware is standard, so hardware conflicts are nil. Point is you can no more blame a programmer for real bugs in a game than you can blame a bus driver for being delayed by traffic and any notion to the contary simply shows a general ignorance of the process.
  22. If the programming was done right there wouldn't be a need for QA. Okay, you've officially just dropped from 'hooting peenhole' to 'jibbering idiot'.
  23. Games like Operation Flashpoint and the original Rainbow Sixs do exist, if you want the immersion of 'real combat' you should be playing those. If you want the immersion of being in an action film then you have to understand that the point of games that emulate action films is to keep the player IN the action. I mean, complaining about the lack of immersion of healing bullet wounds seems counter intuative when you've just taken 15 bullets to the head and are still running around like a mad Irishman.
  24. Please, tell us more.
  25. hee spelt iet fonetically doork.
