  1. Armed Assault apparently isn't that great unless you REALLY need a new Operation Flashpoint fix, otherwise, just stick with OFP + addons. It might also be worth your time to look into Hidden and Dangerous 2, though it's not exactly what you'd call hyper-realistic either (though it's cirtainly a tactical squad based FPS with good AI that rewards intelligence over reactions).
  2. I too must know, my opinion of bioware hangs in the balance!
  3. Good stuff, deep impact can be awsome, you'd be suprised some of the stuff that you can shoot though when it's combined with a heavy weapon. Shooting through objects decreases the damage that your shots do, so the added bullet damage really helps here too.
  4. 'The people hiss me, but I applaud myself at home, when I contemplate the money in my chest.' He's making the mistake of assuming that anyone cares enough to hiss, unless he's talking about his dancing.
  5. Airstriking the two of you in hardcore (friendly fire) mode was awsome.
  6. Like you care, jerk. Point was that even the best games pretty often have dumb names.
  7. I loved PST, it was you I was mocking.
  8. Hey! Lets make a game in the Planescape setting about a guy who's tormented! We'll call it, Planescape: Torment! Wow, i'm glad PC games are here to come up with intelligent names that put consoles to shame.

  10. What the freak did you just call me you stinking pile of hades? I'LL KILL YOU!
  11. Oh yeah, I ignored that on release due to the number of bugs that were being reported, but apparently the steam version has been mostly fixed. That, and the fact that I played the first X and, while I loved the concepts, the actual space sim elements were (like freelancer) lacking. Combat just was not fun.
  12. Sad as it is, Space sims are pretty much a dead genre at the moment, Freelancer was the last 'major' one, and it barely counts as such.
  13. AC is way too arcady to be considered a flight sim, unless your only prerequisite for defining a game as such is 'I get to fly airplanes'. It's easily the best at what it does though.
  14. the game is on my get list, but lack of voise chat in coop games? yeesh, get it togeather nintendo.
  15. <3<3 the Japanese.
  16. And Ikaruga.
  17. Man, that has to be my 7th time through the game, and it's still totally fresh.
  18. Awsome mode.
  19. We weren't TKing each other, what more do you want? EDIT: Actually, Llyranor's constant bodyblocking me into grenades sort of counts I guess. The moron. Next time i'm just going to pick it up and shove it down his throat.
  20. Which is funny, because I now have the pleasure of knowing what Hades DOES sound like.
  21. which would help explain why they've refused to put an HD-player in the 360.
  22. Too bad all my spare time is spent animating, otherwise this would be interesting.
