I'd recommend that you play it lightside for your first time in case you decide not to play through it again. You'll get more out of the, imho, crappy ending. I'd say get it for the PC since there's a patch for it and another one coming up that adds the higher quality movies and music. But there's still a chance that you'll run into a gamestopping bug.

Should The True Sith Be In Kotor III?
Marid Bakhtavar replied to Bastilla_Skywalker's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
The "true sith" are giant midichlorians on some dyson sphere in unknown space. -
Here's the newest version of my pink saber mod. Added the Double & Short and changed the beam a bit.

Homework, waiting for my hard drive so I can continue modding (learning) without concern, and playing Civ III.

You did put EnableScreenShot=1 under the Game Options section of your swkotor2.ini file, right?

Awesome, thanks for the fix. I suspect it had something to do with my attempt to change e-mail addresses. The address I tried to change it to probably wouldn't accept the activation e-mail.

If you're talking about lucasforums, then it's Prydeless. If it's pcgamemods, I don't have an account there. I'm just not uploading it there until I finish the mod.
-
Here are the files if anyone wants to try it out. I'd post it on pcgamemods as mentioned above, but it's not done yet and i'd like to get more modding knowledge so it doesn't conflict with mods from other modders.

Since I can't post on lucasforums, I thought i'd get some feedback here. I decided to make this when I noticed no one was making a pink saber and I have free time while waiting for the patch. This probably won't be done for a while since i'm having computer troubles and there's still the short and double to work on.

Great job. It's refreshing to see non anime art for KotOR. Not that the anime fan art is bad or anything.

If K2 had a simpler, straight forward plot

I don't know what kind of box you got, but mine says "Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II The Sith Lords" -
Female Romance option SUCKS!

Is much better than Visas <{POST_SNAPBACK}> When that happened, did anyone else think about that Demolition Man scene where they have sex via those helmets? -
Just Finished The Game
Marid Bakhtavar replied to Marid Bakhtavar's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Thanks for the links and info. I'm surprised a lot of this was cut out. -
I just finished the game for the first time and I am utterly confused. Could anyone help clarify some things for me? 1) After killing Nihilis and leaving the Ravager, was there supposed to be something that happened? The game just skipped to a FMV of the Ebon Hawk leaving a hangar in Telos then crash landing on Malachor V. Why am I alone on the surface? 2) I defeat Kreia and push her off of the platform. The game cuts to an FMV of Malachor and the debris around it, then to credits. Was something supposed to happen with the Remote and Goto? Where's the closure? Are these normal for a dark side ending or did I just get victimized by game glitches?

Hehe, someone else who had problems with the case. I had to push each of those hooks to get the CDs out.

I think there are two opportunities to get that. Both on Nar Shaddaa.

Lucasarts finally has new screen of KOTOR2

Wow, that's some poor logic on your part. You sound like a rep. for Ford when they had to recall Pintos. "It's not our fault that you bought a car that explodes. You should of had better judgement." What a joke. Looks like someone's getting too much sun in Hawaii. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I could say the same about you. Have you actually seen or heard a weather report on Hawaii? It "looks" like you're just making an ignorant comment based on preconceived notions on what Hawaii is like. Anyway, I don't see anything wrong with my logic. So why don't you explain to me your knoweledge on building cars and sales trends to indicate how you can compare them to games? Maybe then I can understand where you're coming from. I'm not afraid, proud, etc. to admit if I was wrong.

I don't think it's fair to blame Obsidian for the bugs. They send it to Lucasarts for quality control and if LucasArts decides to let certain bugs pass (if they managed to find them) in order to meet the deadline then that's their prerogative. As for the U.S. X-Boxers, it was your choice to buy the game and it's a LucasArts game. Congratulations! You were the target audience for the X-Box release! Now, was it really so unexpected that there would be bugs in KotOR 2 when KotOR had them too? Especially when they pushed up the release date? Anyway, you're not helping yourselves and other gamers by blindly buying games. Maybe next time you'll be smart enough and exercise some self control and good judgement. For those saying that you'll download the game that you rightfully deserve, go right on ahead. I doubt you'll get caught. But remember that it's folks such as yourselves that will be to blame if all game companies decide to go the way of systems like Steam, which for me was an intolerable experience.

Spike TV video game awards

Spike TV isn't all bad. They show Star Trek DS9, MacGyver, and The Highlander. -
Why they shouldn't have a new engine just yet
Marid Bakhtavar replied to ampulator00's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Source wasn't that great. I played HL2 in my friend's house and I can't say i was too impressed. Graphics look only slightly better than KotOR (Actually, Unreal 2 looked way nicer and was produced almost year earlier, Doom 3 also had more advanced engine) and the fabled Havok physics wasn't properly implemented - enemy's bodies in full armor floated in water like rubber dolls... it has potential, sure, but is now unfortunately obsolete. Had valve lived up to promises and given us the game half a year earlier, i'd be a hit. Now, when screens of Unreal 3, Quake 4, new Blizzard engine and that of several other games begin to show up, HL2 looks a bit... mediocre. Troika tried to make RPG out of source, and they failed. Bioware announced they want new RPG engine... and they turned source down and instead got Unreal 3 engine for their new "big RPG project"... KotOR 3 maybe? (w00t) source doesn't have room for expansion, while Q4, U3 & D3 engines have a lot to spare... So, if KotOR 3 is going to be made, Bioware/Obsidian - spare us buggy source and go for a real new generation engine <_< F. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ha. I stopped reading after you said the graphics were only slightly better than kotor. You're either an idiot, or a huge idiot. im betting on the latter. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Now now, there's no need for such remarks. -
I haven't played the game yet, but from a lot of what I've been reading, it's quite easy to beat. So maybe bring back the level 20 level cap or some level cap and make it incredibly difficult to reach that cap by decreasing the amount of experience gained from kills and quests.

Now I just need to know if it's possible to have a pink saber
