The two diplomates = sith lords???
Marid Bakhtavar replied to Ameorn's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Makes one wonder where the moderators are and why they're not enforcing the rules... -
Chronicles of the Old Republic - Part III
Marid Bakhtavar replied to funcroc's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Darth Scrotum... I wonder if we'll be fighting Orbelisks and Dxun Tomb Beasts on Dxun. When/if we visit Freeball's tomb. -
Not necessarily. All you'd need to do is make a Fortitude save. That doesn't require you to be a Jedi.

Anyone think that you'll have to be a Jedi Master or Sith Lord in order to teach your disciple since those two classes are characterized as the pinnacle of their respective factions?

***UNOFFICAL KOTOR 2 : THE SITH LORDS FAQ***

I can't remember... Was Martial arts in the previous version of the Unofficial FAQ and if it was, is it still going to be in KotOR 2? -
Prestige Classes
Marid Bakhtavar replied to Who are these people?'s topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
According to the Star Wars Core Rulebook Obi-Wan (By Ep. II): Guardian 7/Master 2/Investigator 1 Obi-Wan (By Ep. IV): Guardian 7/Master 5/Investigator 3 Yoda (By Ep. II): Consular 10/Master 10 Mace: Guardian 9/Master 9 Dooku: Guardian 15/ Lord 3 Palpatine: Noble 4/Dark Side Devotee 6/Lord 10 Basically Consular 10/Lord 10 So as seen by Obi Wan it seems that you can multiclass as long as you meet the requirements for acquiring the prestige classes. I don't know if they'll let us do that in KotOR 2. -
Prestige Classes
Marid Bakhtavar replied to Who are these people?'s topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I'll probably try them all, but I would Go with Assassin first and Watchman second -
I'm guessing around level 15, maybe less and when you are firmly on the light or dark side of the force.

My friend, a Star Wars fan, lent me his copy last June. I absolutely loved the game so I bought it.

Devs are active lately...
Marid Bakhtavar replied to Planar Jedi's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
The only thing I can think of that they'd have to do for the PC version is improve the interface if they haven't done so, do more debugging to minimize the need for patching, and maybe convert the game for the Windows environment? -
Do You Like The New NPC's Of KOTOR 2?
Marid Bakhtavar replied to Bastilla_Skywalker's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
As long as the npcs aren't a bunch of whiners like Carth, Mission, and Zaalbar, I think I will like them. Oh, and if they have good dialog too. Another problem that I had with Carth was that the tone of his voice didn't feel like it matched with the responses I gave. -

Some game dialog screens
Marid Bakhtavar replied to Carth Vader's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Lol. I think her eyes are hiden for a reason. A surprise for the PC when he realizes she's blind. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You can see her eyes in the trailer in the KotOR 2 official website. They're kind of like Gadon Thek's (Hidden Bek leader from KotOR 1) only brighter. -

I've heard that you can get started by starting out as a game tester. But you'd need to be pretty good at that to start moving up the ladder. There's always the good old fashioned way of submitting your resume, but they're usually looking for artists, modellers, and programmers with portfolios when they have open spots.

Care to offer a link to where they said that they promised DLC? -
I'd like to see more/harder puzzles in KotOR 2. It would add to the difficulty of the game and add more fun. It also helped to break the monotony of running around and combating the average mob.

Colour of lightsaber
Marid Bakhtavar replied to waiveddreams's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
So what? This is a fantasy (if you don't accept midichlorians)/sci-fi game. Everyone should be able to get the color they want. -
Do You Like The New NPC's Of KOTOR 2?
Marid Bakhtavar replied to Bastilla_Skywalker's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Have someone in particular in mind maybe? Actually I think that would be pretty cool. I would say the the NPCs so far have potential, although we wont know for sure how cool or lame they really are until we play the game. If you had asked me before I played the game if I thought it would be cool to have a Twilek scoundral and a wookie in my party I would have probably said yeah. Hahaha. Wrong. And just like Delerius Jedi, Bastilla will always have a special place with me. And by that I mean that I, like Delerius Jedi, will have a place for Bastilla, not that Bastilla, like Delerius Jedi will have a place with me. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He's talking about Yuthura Ban from Korriban in KotOR if you didn't know. -

Do You Like The New NPC's Of KOTOR 2?
Marid Bakhtavar replied to Bastilla_Skywalker's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I never liked Mission and Zaalbar. Whiny and arrogant respectively. Thank the devs that I could kill them in the end. Too bad Carth managed to escape my grasp. None of my party members better be like them this time around. -
Do You Like The New NPC's Of KOTOR 2?
Marid Bakhtavar replied to Bastilla_Skywalker's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
It would have been nice if there were was more of a diversity in appearances of the npcs. Where are the fat people? The midgets? Asians? Mexicans? Why is it that all the humans in a galaxy far far away 4,000 years in the past are all physically fit caucasians and blacks (possibly except for the main character). I want to force puch a Twi'lek midget and see how far (s)he will fly across the map! Pardon if I've offended anyone.
