  1. I haven't even thought about Yu-Gi_oh! for years, but it was a huge part of my childhood along with Digimon and DBZ.
  2. During the early days of the rona when the UK was on lockdown, Sunak was the face of "Eat Out To Help Out" (lmao) which was giving people 50% off on in-person meals from restaurants in August 2020. This double entendre plan caused a spike in rona infections that triggered another batch of lockdowns. So yeah, this is pure cope from Sunak. If you hang out at the circuis you can't expect people to not think you're a clown.
  3. I'm saying that those who didn't vote for BoJo aren't expecting a competent government, they expect the Tories (who are most likely to win) to be absolute ****-ups.
  4. The rona years have been bad in many ways, but encouraging this **** is one of the worst.
  5. I was up till 2am yesterday because of the damn fireworks. Wish people would just gorge themselves into a stupor instead of this bull****.
  6. This slime was green and only could disolve clothes. That's tamer tbh.
  7. It may work for you if you can deal with a very horny harem anime, but there's really not much there if you can get around that.
  8. Bastard!! Uhhhh, it's like someone extremely horny made an adult's only Shonen loosely influenced by D&D, metal, and the 1981 Heavy Metal. I don't recommend this.
  9. Carnitas and some margaritas. It was delicious and now I'm drunk, I don't give a ****.
  10. A lot of the restrictions are designed to force abortion clinics to close, so even if there are cases exempt from the ban there isn't any place in the state able to provide an abortion. This is what happened in Texas before Roe v Wade was overturned, I think it caused over half of clinics over the last decade because they couldn't regularly meet standards imposed. Congress didn't get it's **** together because until recently abortion was a fundraising issue for the supposed pro-choice crowd. Even now, Democrats are doing more to fleece donors than they are to protect the right to abortion.
  11. No One Reads The Back: How We Told You The Hook In The Titile And Became A Bestseller
  12. I do love the very long names of these animes, but I will never watch them. You know what should tide you over
  13. I think that with many shows there just isn't a coherent plan in place from the get go and it shows in how things get stretched to wheel-spinning. Given how TV works that makes sense, but the end result is still not pleasant. Anyways, The Boys s3 ep7. Not Herogasm, but a fun episode.
  14. I think the truth is that oby multipled and now there are several obys. Soon we will all be oby.
  15. Insomnia fueled binge of Stranger Things s4 part 2 - 4 hours of 11 and a guy in a monster suit doing psychic stuff. You know, I see no reason why this wasn't released all at once. One cliffhanger was replaced with another and more of the stuff like @Bartimaeus hates and I am coming to dislike.
  16. Honestly I don't know, I don't think that mystery is going to be the series finale but....spoilers ahoy for the season 3 finale
  17. I'm not fond of them either, but this season finale was much less of one than the previous seasons. At least on terms of if this was the series finale it would work.
  18. I don't think you're overblowing it. The reactionary supreme court has been openly hostile to democracy for a while (nb4 not a democracy posts) and is attempting to restructure the electoral process in a way that marginalizes vast swathes of the population in order to favor Republicans. If the court does indeed decide in favor of state legislatures, stuff like Trump tried to pull in 2020 could very well work. It's kind of funny, Republicans already don't need to win the nationwide popular vote to win, but soon they won't even need to win statewide popular votes to win. While it's despicable it is undeniably a masterstroke of realpolitic, all while the do nothing democrats ask for fundraising. I haven't had any faith in the US government for a long time, but even I'm surprised that the SC has managed to find just a little bit of credibility to burn through in the last few months.
  19. I think the most unrealistic part of apocalypse movies is that no one decided to kill their landlords or bosses on the way out as resentment. Anyways I'm trying to figure out if I should grab tickets to see the restoration of Lost Highway at the Museum of Fine Arts or just wait for the digital release.
  20. Umbrella Academy s3. Much better than s2 in most ways, nice to see more of Reginald and get an idea of why he adopted the kids in the first place.
