Journalism and sexism in the games industry
We don't think tacky shirts are equal to harassing over tacky shirts. Please, do show me that famed harrassment. I'm genuinely curious. You don't see how calling someone sexist for wearing a shirt is harassment? http://www.theverge.com/2014/11/13/7213819/your-bowling-shirt-is-holding-back-progress Because clearly, Matt Taylor's shirt is actively keeping women out of science. And the horrible misogynist who made the shirt: You can find her at https://twitter.com/ellypriZeMaN I suggest you let her know how horrible she is for keeping women out of science. EDIT: Thinking in it, perhaps "harassment" isn't the right word. I suppose the definition of it as "aggressive pressure or intimidation" applies, but it feels less direct and more like "unfounded criticism that is harsh". Anyone got a word for that?

If a female scientist wore a dress with images of a male character in sexy poses would anyone react differently if she would've received similar treatment to Dr. Taylor? If the answer is yes, you're a sexist. The most harm this shirt could do is assault the fashion sense of a vanilla person. If someone feels that a tacky shirt is keeping them out of STEM(and not the intense course work and study) then they probably won't be able to handle a job where they regularly interact with people.- Journalism and sexism in the games industry

I think T:TDW was troubled more by plot than performances. I have heard something similar, and would love to see Spidey in the MXU where he belongs, wouldn't be surprised if Sony took a payoff. And it's pretty much been the opinion of most I've encountered that Fantastic F@ckup would be a train wreck way before Doom Blogger. Although I'll admit I find Doom Blogger more funny than revolting.- Movies you've seen recently
Fantastic Chronicle sounds so bad I have to wonder if Disney is bribing Trank in hopes the film sucks so bad FOX hands the rights over to Marvel. Now if only Sony would sell Spidey film rights back so we can have a decent Spider-Man film. Anyways, I finally got around to watching Thor: The Dark World. Not bad, but bland and probably the weakest of phase 2.- Journalism and sexism in the games industry

So if there are robots in a sci-fi game it's a cliché? I think it's what you do with the tropes that make it cliche. DAO had some good points, but I feel that the ancient organization vs. ancient evil wasn't executed in a particularly original manner. I would've also liked more consequence for certain quests, specifically the mage circle, werewolves and elves, and the noble's possessed kid.- Journalism and sexism in the games industry

My fellow misogolords, we have a manlection coming up to decide the next prime manister of our glourious manocracy. I'm imploring all of you to vote for Ron Swanson to this high position, and do not consider casting your manvotes behind anyone else. - Journalism and sexism in the games industry
