  1. I'm probably going to watch a few more episodes to get a better feel on it. Right now it's ok, but not particularly interesting.
  2. That's a lot of show. Not sure if I'm feeling it that much.
  3. As California goes, so goes the nation. I guess this means every single election from now on will be accused of fraud and spend several months in court after it was supposed to end. Lmao.
  4. It is very much uncanny valley, but it's a nice break from historical mean girls.
  5. If you're looking for Cardio Anime, try HiScore Girl.
  6. Ohmygod.gif JOTARO! THE SECRET OF HIS STAND IS- ZA WARUDO!
  7. Clannad episode 1. Hmmm, nothing really put me off but the first episode is pretty slow. The main character's friend getting his ass kicked has been the highlight so far. What the **** is a love polygon?
  8. My perception is awful in the morning and at night.
  9. It's worse for archetypes that take abilities from other classes, because in pnp the description pretty much tells you to look it up. Which would get tedious, so the copy pasting makes more sense. Add in the complexity of multiclassing with potentially overlapping abilities, like Vivisectionist/Arcane Enforcer/Thug/Scaled Fist and you're potentially looking at a massive cluster**** in a game that is already a buggy mess. It's still not great though.
  10. Ability text is mostly copied straight from pnp. In Kingmaker I believe this caused some confusion for an ability that was misprinted in pnp that ended up being corrected, but I forget the details. For the Slayer, in pnp the talents they share with Rogue often say "the rogue can" instead of specifying "the slayer can" or "the character can". With combat style talents it says "the slayer selects a ranger combat style". So you can blame Paizo for that. The rest of it is probably to save time.
  11. As much as I like TNG, there is definitely way too much plot induced stupidity absence that goes on. More than that, the show would have been much better if Wesley never existed.
  12. I'll trust you and I'll probably watch it next.
  13. Words Bubble Up Like Soda Pop. Something this sweet was a real change of pace from whatever the hell Utena was. Which was great. It's very bright, @Bartimaeus and @Sarex were not kidding about that. Once you get used to it though it does look good. There is a kinetic energy that emphasizes the silly aspects quite well, like BEAVER! getting chased by mall cops. The framing is top notch, this is a movie that treats animation like animation and really uses it to the most benefit. As to the plot and characters, it's mostly a slice of life teenage romance which is not something I would usually go looking for but it works here. Without spoiling anything, none of the characters are Shinji tier introverts or robots like Anthy, just some weird kids and an old man looking for a record. It does a pretty good job of showing rather than telling and the payoffs feel nice. Overall I'd say it's good. A nice drive at a reasonable speed that doesn't go anywhere unpleasant or turn so hard you get vertigo. I'd recommend it to anyone looking to watch a lighthearted movie and can adjust to getting hit with a very bright color palate.
  14. I almost photoshopped Dio's face onto Mari, but I decided that it was too much effort. I do recommend Rebuild though, tentatively and after watching NGE. I'd say it's ok compared to NGE's good, with much worse low points.
  15. I think with Rebuild they changed their minds so much it became a jumbled mess, why NGE benefits from both a more coherent vision and slightly longer run time. Which to be fair it did use a lot better, while Rebuild body slammed us with technobabble insanity and relied on previous NGE viewing to have us relate to the characters.....NGE actually developed them. All in all NGE is definitely better. But I'd recommend Rebuild simply because
  16. I'm probably going to wait a while before watching the movie. I still haven't got around to the feature length Violet Evergarden ova lmao. For now, I'm going to try and finish up TOS and maybe a short series before returning to JoJo.
  17. I watched the whole show. Kira is a power hungry freak that goes beyond just killing bad people very early on. Pretty much an irredeemable bastard. Basically it ends up being a battle of wits between two socially maladjusted teenagers, one of whom has an imaginary friend. You probably won't like anyone and won't like the plot, so just drop it. Just liked. If it wasn't cgi it'd be really good, but too much uncanny valley. Speaking of uncanny..... Utena 33 the return of the clip show. Utena gets Akio'd. More importantly the shadow girls have a radio show. Edit: Utena 34-39 The End of Utena (and the World). Well that was not as weird as I thought, but still very much out there. Maybe I'll get around to writing something longer, but right now my opinion is that it is ok. Parts of it are good, but the middle arc drags it down way too much. Next is bubbles up like soda pop when I feel like watching a movie, then rewatching JoJo to get ready for Stone Ocean dropping in December.
  18. I think Death Note is kinda dumb and that Kira is probably among the worst edgy protagonists.
  19. Utena 32 Nanami gets slapped Lmao, this is all karma for the cat.
  20. While that may be a debate to have, from what I remember of the game's dialogue options the light side range from goody two-shoes to the requisite lawful stupid, while dark side was greedy **** or chaotic stupid. All of which had a meager impact on the gameplay itself. I was thinking more of that than Star Wars lore.
  21. Looks like Thor needs to cut back on carbs.
