Samurai Champloo episode 7 It continues to be great. I don't know why I didn't watch this sooner, so far I've liked every Watanabe anime I've seen. The recommendation for Carole & Tuesday still stands. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Phantom Blood 2+3. A Letter from the Past and Youth with Dio. I think Phantom Blood is both the most normal and the worst part of JoJo, probably because JoJo is consistently more boring than Dio. But it is still good and very weird. This is the jump off point for where JoJo starts going really off the rails, and soon (spoiled because @InsaneCommander hasn't seen it yet)

Instead of watching sexy vampire ladies, I watched a geriatric man slaughter tons of people over the course of a few hours while John Carpenter synth music played in the background. I'd say Halloween Kills is not as good as Halloween (2018), and really middle of the road tbh. I'm going as Femto.

I'm trying to think of a spell that is a better ranged touch attack spell than Hellfire Ray and I can't really think of one. Disintegrate needs a fort save or it sucks, Elemental Assesor is more for procing weaknesses or stopping regen, and Umbral Strike needs a fort save too. Too bad there's no Good alternative, off hand the only really good Good spells that come to mind are Eaglesoul and Burst of Radiance

Komi Can't Communicate I'm not sure yet, but so far I'm cautiously optimistic about the show. It was much sillier than I expected. That's not necessarily a bad thing. It does feel like they tried to transfer the manga rather than adapt it in some scenes. JoJo's Shatner tier overacting would benefit most anime.

I now feel like the big dumb that I am. Or US politics are so consistently dumb it's hard to keep up with. I'll go with that to feel better about myself. It's still there for me. Maybe I'll go Hellraiser and watch it. This makes me want to watch it more. Don't make me bust out the Ludovico.

I'm not sure, I would have to watch LoGH. But if it mirrored real life politics, most of them were already rich and can live a better life off residuals than most people could working full time. We could also see class stratification in space (which seems to be pretty common in sci-fi) where some people have to work to keep the ship running while others "work" like the space equivalent of a financial dip**** who makes 250k a year as a senior manager at a hedge fund his dad runs. God damn it Netflix, let me binge my slice of life anime.

I watched two more episodes, and it continues to be really good. Parts of it can be slow, but I haven't seen anything I've outright disliked yet. Now you've jinxed it and will come across some Mari x Nanoha fanart. It depends on how you define it, but yeah, virtually any thing has fans that are just awful. Just look at the Imoen romance or Sarelith mods for BG2.

Samurai Champloo 1-4 This show is good. Really good. Highly recommended. God damn, another one to watch before rewatching JoJo.

I think it's hard to say, I could honestly see them losing the house more than the Senate. If I'm not mistaken, of the 34 seats up for grabs Republicans have 20 to the Democrat 14. So maybe the Democrats defend those seats. With the voter suppression and gerrymandering though, I think we'll see less D seats in general so hanging on the the house is going to be a bit more difficult. It's a year away and who knows what could happen then?
