It would take a really special alpaca to replace sleepy rat.

Meh. I'm not impressed by any speedrun that uses scripts and/or console cheats. I beat this game in 20 minutes when my character could fly and move at 10 times the speed. Whoopty doo.

There were some seriously intense platforming sections going up the Tule Tree in Guacamelee! A few of the sections took me about ten times, but I made it all the way up and got all the extra goodies along the way.

To take a page out of Volo's troll playbook, LOL.

I'm not saying don't play Durant at all, but why the heck would you play him 42 minutes in a essentially meaningless game? Play him for 20 or 25 minutes or something. The Thunder needed 1 win in their last 3 games to assure themselves the 2 seed. The 3 remaining games: Indiana, New Orleans, Detroit. Why would you go all out to win the Indiana game (which they lost anyway) when the New Orleans game should be much easier and the Detroit game should be a breeze? Not to mention, if the Clips lose even once then the Thunder don't need to win any games. It doesn't make any sense.

Ugh. I wish the Thunder would fire Scotty Brooks and get a real coach. Seriously, he's had Durant play for 40 minutes today and the game is not over yet. This game is essentially meaningless and Durant has been playing 38.4 minutes per game this year. Earlier in the year leaning this heavily on Durant was a necessity, since Westbrook was out and they needed to scratch and claw to get one of the top seeds in the West, but why the **** would you play Durant this many minutes in a game that means nothing. The Thunder can't get the 1 seed, and while they have not mathematically locked up the 2 seed yet, for all intensive purposes they have. Their 2 remaining games are the Pelicans and Sixers. All they need is 1 win or 1 Clips loss. They should beat the Pelicans with Durant only playing half the game, heck, they could beat the Sixers without playing Durant at all. I get Durant is only 25 and an alien mutant from another planet, but you can still run the guy into the ground. What the ****, Scotty Brooks?

I'm not bothered by "exotic", quite the opposite, it makes me eager to try it. Besides, I'm originally from Poland and we eat all types of stuff that many Americans would find revolting or at least strange, such as flaki (tripe stew) and befsztyk tatarski (steak tartare) and smoked eel.

I don't. I guess the standard procedure to building sets in loot em ups is figuring out which boss or champion drops the piece(s) you're looking for then grinding said boss or champion until you get the complete set. Similar to what people do in MMOs. I, personally, can't bring myself to do that, hence I almost never get complete sets in loot em ups as I just play through the game as if it was a standard RPG and whatever drops I get is whatever drops I get and that's that. An alternative/complimentary method to getting complete sets is to dump set pieces in your shared stash and eventually getting all the pieces after having played several characters. This, obviously, will only work if you intend to run through the game many times with many characters.

It's another nice day, not as gorgeous as yesterday, about the same temperature, but mostly cloudy, so I went for another bike ride. Not as long as yesterday, about an hour and a half. Still, that's 4 hours total this weekend, and with me being as out of shape as I am, and my legs not used to so much work, I expect to be feeling lots of burn in my legs at work tomorrow. Worth it, though.

This game just keeps on getting better

Not only did I shamelessly rip off KaineParker's Hopefully Attractive Women Thread previously with my Keyrock's Hopefully Attractive Rodent Thread, I am now shamelessly ripping off my own thread which was itself a shameless rip off of another thread. Next level ripping off, get the sensation! Anyway, why am I making a thread dedicated to pictures of alpacas? The correct question is: Why wouldn't I make a thread dedicated to pictures of alpacas? Alpacas are awesome looking. They bring smiles to the faces of children, adults, elderly, men, and women alike. Put it this way: If you're having a bad day and you're sad or angry, just look at some pictures of alpacas. If you're still sad or angry after looking at pictures of alpacas then you should seriously consider seeking professional help, because there are likely deeply rooted psychological issues. Today is an absolutely gorgeous day so I went for my second bike ride of the year. I spent almost 2 1/2 hours out on the road, it was awesome. It was about 65°F when I left and about 72°F when I got back with beautiful blue skies. I only just move to Hartford recently so I was mostly exploring, getting the lay of the land. Step 1, is getting out of the deep city, which, luckily, isn't too hard, since I live right on the edge of downtown and within 3 or 4 minutes of riding I'm into West Hartford and much less congested roads with less traffic lights. Here's a picture of my trusty steed: It's a decent enough bike, nothing special. Aluminum frame, carbon fork, Shimano Sora hardware. I had it stored at my folks during the winter and forgot to take my water bottle with me when I brought it to my new place, so I'm making due with a substitute until I go over there next week.

With the NBA season in its final week or so, here are my season awards: MVP - Kevin Durant He's had a MONSTER season. He's been statistically better than LeBron (I'm going to keep comparing him to LeBron because, quite frankly, no one else is even in KD's or LeBron's league right now, those 2 are in a separate category from every other player) in the vast majority of metrics. Both have had to carry big loads this season (LeBron with Wade missing many games over various stretches of the season and KD with Westbrook missing half the season) but LeBron has done it on a team that could take nights off and coast since they were going to get a top 2 seed pretty much no matter what (looks like they'll stumble into a 1 seed because Indiana's engines are on fire and they are nosediving into the side of a mountain) while KD has had to do it in a ultra competitive Western Conference and with a tougher strength of schedule and they will still wind up with a better record than Miami. Durant has been heavily defended the entire season (especially in the absence of Russ), being double teamed pretty much constantly, and has still put up an insanely efficient 51-40-87 split while scoring a mind boggling 32 points a night. Even LeBron himself has said that KD has been more consistent this season in what fell just short of a concession speech. Coach of the Year - Gregg Popovich Guided the Spurs to the best record in the NBA despite Kawhi missing about 15 games and with Duncan and Ginobli now in their late 30s. Incredible. Just Incredible. Defensive Player of the Year - Joakim Noah The guy is just all over the floor, pestering players and messing up the opposing team's offensive flow. The Bulls rank at or near the top of many defensive categories, and he's the main reason why. Rookie of the Year - Michael Carter-Williams While he's cooled off from his blazing hot beginning of the year, he's still been the best of the rookies over the course of the year. My only hesitation is because he plays on such a horrendously bad team, but he's been so much better than everyone else that I have no choice but to give it to him. Most Improved Player - Anthony Davis I went back and forth between him and Lance Stephenson, but the Pacers made it easy for me when their reactor overloaded and they went into meltdown mode. The Unibrow's improvement this year has been staggering. First Team All-NBA - Kevin Durant, LeBron James, Joakim Noah, James Harden, Stephen Curry KD, LBJ, Noah, and Harden are no-brainers. While Steph is a defensive liability, he's been a MONSTER on the offensive side of the ball and has played the entire season, whereas CP3 has missed too many games for me to give him the final spot. Second Team All-NBA - Blake Griffin, Paul George, Al Jefferson, Goran Dragic, Chris Paul

He still wrestles. In fact, he just became the TNA World Heavyweight Champion. And yes, Eric Young is pretty awesome. As for GLOW, I remember that. I think I caught a few episodes back in the day. It was quite young back then.

I'm playing Guacamelee! I like this game a lot. I'm a big fan of metroidvanias, and while Guacamelee! doesn't reinvent the wheel, it is a very well designed game. Plus the humor, art style, and amazingly awesome soundtrack add a lot to the experience.

So, I guess Timofey Mozgov had a pretty good night: 29 rebounds is super impressive, but never mind that, check out the 93 points!

Star Citizen looks nice enough. I wasn't exactly blown away by the video, but I wasn't put off by it either. The game looks very combat oriented, as I would expect from Chris Roberts. I'm a lot more into trading and building a manufacturing and mercantile empire. With that in mind, Elite: Dangerous will likely be a much better choice for me.

I agree about the first 3. Cody should be main eventing and Ziggler and Sandow should at least have meaningful storylines, but I actually love the heck out of the Bad News Barrett gimmick. *gavel* *gavel* *gavel* Can I have some decorum!? And yes, the divas division has been putrid ever since Michelle retired. Hopefully with Paige and Emma being called up this means a turn for the positive. I doubt the WWE will ever completely go away from the divas being comprised largely of models, but it would be nice if they had some actual wrestlers in there as well beyond just AJ.
