  1. Monster Hunter World My character Corinth. I am a big fan of the dark skin silver/grey hair combo, it looks super badass. My Palico Benny.
  2. I wish I had stopped after Awakening. I can still remember the excitement I felt when Dragon Age 2 was coming out; the subsequent disappointment after actually playing the game was soul crushing. In far more important and pressing news, Monster Hunter World comes out on consoles TOMORROW.
  3. That looks like a game that's really rad... that I would be really terrible at... Then I would write things in the What Are You Playing thread like
  4. Which is why (one of the reasons, anyway) some people believe we are headed for another industry crash.
  5. Those PG13 Playstation sneakers actually don't look horrible. I sure as hell wouldn't pay $110 for them, though.
  6. I kinda want to buy the Watch_Dogs 2 season pass, but I really don't want to pay full price for it. I'm really enjoying Watch_Dogs 2, it's one of the best GTA-style games I've played and better than the first game in almost every way. I would like to give Ubisoft more of my money in exchange for some more story content, but $40 is a no go for what amounts to 4 or 5 new story mission chains and also some paint jobs and stuff that I don't care the least bit about. I guess I'll wait and see if it goes on sale at any point.
  7. Patriots vs Eagles in the Super Bowl. This is The Darkest Timeline. Go Meteor.
  8. Spiders is established... as a maker of low budget RPGs long on delusions of grandeur and short on production value. I have a soft spot for them and am not ashamed of being a fan of their games.
  9. Monster Hunter World releases in just over a week (Jan 26th). I repeat, Monster Hunter World releases in just over a week. THIS IS NOT A DRILL! A new Monster Hunter game is almost upon us.
  10. I've now solved 2 entire areas in The Witness. The feeling I get when I figure out the rules for a chain of puzzles in an area I've been stumped in, then figure out each successive new wrinkle they throw in along the way, is amazing. So far, I've resisted the urge to look at any guides or walkthroughs (kind of defeats the purpose of a puzzle if you look up the solution). I completed The Talos Principle and its expansion 100% completely on my own (there were puzzles I was stuck on for like a week) and I'm determined to do the same with The Witness, even if it takes me years to do it.
  11. The Shivering Isles from the TES IV: Oblivion expansion of the same name. It's divided into 2 very different, yet equally as crazy halves and has some of the most enjoyable quest lines that Bethesda has ever made.
  12. Steam Controller Master Race. I particularly like the dual-stage triggers and the track pad. The gyro on it is pretty good too. The "D-Pad" is garbage, though, and the thumbstick feels a bit sloppier than what I'd ideally like (the thumbsticks on the PS4's dualshock 4 are the ideal for me in terms of how they move and spring back).
  13. That Saints DB is going to be sick to his stomach all off-season. So, if I told you at the beginning of the season that come conference championship Sunday the 4 QBs left standing would be: Tom Brady, Blake Bortles, Case Keenum, and Nick Foles, you'd have believed one of those names, right?
  14. I scooped up The Witness recently. As a lover of puzzle games, I've been wanting to play this for a long time. As I've gotten older I've gravitated toward puzzle games more and more, since my hand to eye coordination has begun to deteriorate while my capacity to think logically and creatively hasn't. So far, The Witness has not disappointed. Half the fun is figuring out the rules of the puzzle, then figuring out the solution as extra kinks are thrown in to increase complexity. Plus, the game looks lovely.
  15. Front runner for Rookie of the Year at this point has to be Jayson Tatum, right?
  16. Yeah, for all of Isaiah's offensive prowess, he's a flat out liability on defense.
  17. Tough times for the Cavs as of late. First they get absolutely ANNIHILATED by the Raptors (people need to stop sleeping on T Dot), now tonight they blow a 22 point lead to the Pacers. It's the regular season, they have plenty of time to work their kinks outt and get it in gear for the playoffs, but they look quite shaky right now.
  18. With my travel for the holidays then working 2 jobs when I got back, I've had very little time for gaming. What little time I have had has been dedicated to Watch_Dogs 2. I continue to be impressed by the quality of this game. I feel like it got overlooked because of the backlash over the first title (deserved), but this game is so much better in almost every sense. I'm also really glad I've continued with the non-lethal path and the fact that the game has so far made it possible. The game provided me with genuinely likeable characters you want to root for and it's a lot easier to do that when they're NOT murdering and robbing people in an effort to help people. Motocross races are still my favorite side activity, though Drivr San Francisco (taxi) is the best source of income.
  19. Cam Newton ded. Time for Derek Anderson magic?
