  1. Go out there and barbecue, mother****ers!
  2. Congratulations to the Bucks for winning the Eastern Conference. Hopefully Giannis is healthy for the Finals so they can lose to the Suns at full strength.
  3. Has there been a good asynchronous multiplayer game? It seems like a great concept that nobody can realize properly. Evolve was a dud, Friday the 13th was all types of borked, and now Predator Hunting Grounds seems to be a dud. Is Dead By Daylight any good?
  4. I finished Call of the Sea. Pretty dang good first person puzzle game and quite lovely visually. It took me a little under 12 hours to finish. The game has 2 endings, both bitersweet. You can save right before the choice at the end, so it's quite easy to watch both endings. I definitely recommend it if you are into puzzle games, it's priced well for the amount of content and quality of the game.
  5. I would definitely love for someone to make a The Caves of Steel movie and, if successful, follow it up with The Naked Sun and The Robots of Dawn. I would be all for a Lije Bailey and R. Daneel Olivaw trilogy... Who am I kidding, if the first 2 movies were succesful, they would 100% split the 3rd book into at least 2 parts. Fun fact: The Lije Bailey and R. Daneel Olivaw trilogy is what originally got me into Asimov. The Foundation series wound up being my favorite book series from any author ever.
  6. Worse than Manu Ginobili? I've seen Manu take dives like he was playing for A.C. Milan.
  7. I'm just glad that Patrick Beverley is gone from the playoffs. That guy is like a hockey goon, you love him if he's on your team, because he's constantly antagonizing the opposition, and hate him otherwise. He's never been on one of "my teams", so... Also, CP3 is Lil Wayne's boy. How you gonna hate on Lil Wayne's boy?
  8. Yeah, those prices are steep for 30 year old games. I mean, they're good games, but these "remasters" are lower effort than even the Shin Megami Tensei 3: Nocturne remaster. These FF "remasters" look like the original games running via an emulator with Super 2xSal scaling. The only game I'm interested in is FFIV because the only version available for the longest time was the remake with horrible early 3D polygon graphics.
  9. Before houses they hid in caves to ignore other people.
  10. Hell has frozen over...
  11. CP3 certainly got his shooting touch back tonight and the Suns are headed to the NBA Finals.
  12. This game's great for taking lovely screenies; no cats so far, though, so I doubt I can sell @LadyCrimsonon it. Pretty decent puzzle variety so far, though I do hope they get more challenging. I did get stuck on 1 puzzle for a bit, but that was down to my own hubris; I thought I figured the puzzle out before I even saw all the clues and then when my "solution" failed, I was so sure I was right that it took time to rewire my brain to see the actual solution.
  13. I imagine they're going to need to beta test said sexbots. How does one get a QA job with Humanoid Studios? Asking for a friend.
  14. Next I'm going to be informed that Casey Hudson was spotted at a Wuhan wet market in 2019.
  15. I didn't realize Casey Hudson was such a reviled figure.
  16. Everybody is getting hurt. Is there something in the water gatorade?
  17. Speaking of Bioware, on and off Bioware honcho Casey Hudson has announced his new Canadian studio Humanoid Studios, which is presumably comprised of humanoids, rather than a studio that designs and/or manufactures humanoids. Unsurprisingly, they are working on something which he is not at liberty to disclose anything about right now.
  18. Intel's DG2 GPU sampling to customers I don't expect it to compete with Nvidia's or AMD's high-end, but I'll be interested to see where Intel's discrete graphics stand as they get their feet wet in the market. The optimist in me is thinking RTX 3060 TI or RX 6700 XT level of performance for their top level offering.
  19. It's a Spanish game, not Japanese. Plus, Norah is a grown woman, not a schoolgirl.
  20. So far it's easily the most upbeat Lovecraftian game I've ever played. I like the aesthetic. I've long been a proponent of stylized art styles. They generally are less taxing on hardware AND can look better than realistic, provided it's a well realized and consistent aesthetic. As an aside, Nintendo, in particular, have a long history of having some of the best looking games in any generation and often on underpowered hardware, through the power of a great stylized aesthetic. Our heroine, Norah, is awfully chipper for someone whose husband is missing, has an unknown ailment, is all alone on a mysterious island, and who heard some weird alien (read: Old God) speech in a dream. Then again, she's on this amazingly lush and vibrant tropical island, which is a far cry from the foggy, dark, and dreary New England fishing villages I'm used to in Lovecraft. Maybe she'll change her tune later on in the game when (presumably) the Cthulhu intensifies.
  21. I think the Bucks are the most talented team remaining (especially since I don't see Kawhi returning this postseason) but their performances are all over the place; they look unbeatable one night and super garbage the next. The Suns are playing the most consistently good basketball.
  22. Suns won a hard fought defensive struggle to take a 3-1 lead. Deandre Ayton came up big with a monstrous 22 rebound game.
