The investment group that owned BioWare sold it in what honestly was a conflict-of-interest deal. I see. Muzyka and Zeschuk should have kept it a privat company *sigh* I see Dr. Ray Muzyka listed as a gold backer for PoE. Looks like Greg Zeschuck still close to his pals at Obsidian also. https://twitter.com/DoktorZee

PoE Sales?
Byeohazard replied to Palmtuna's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
Good Ol' Feargus has been around for a good long while..I rememeber seeing video of the Fallout 2 launch party back in the day! That game ruined me to where I am today lol! He and Obsidian deserve the accolades! I'm sure he will reinvest back into Obsidian and we will get to see more great games! -
Leyra, Missing Sentries
Byeohazard replied to Omnion's topic in Pillars of Eternity: Stories (Spoiler Warning!)
This is a hellevah fight...still trying to beat it w my L7 Monk and companions. Any advise? -
Thanks for the reply! I enjoyed reading it. You are probably correct in terms of this probably not up there on the priority list..if enough folks support it and it is not too difficult to implement perhaps Obsidian would consider it at some point. I know I would enjoy the feature and it may help others get a better grip on the massive amount of lore and story presented. Hopefully some others will weigh in with their thoughts!

Maybe it is a silly idea or one that has already been suggested but I was thinking how nice it would be to have a organize button especially for books. There is so much lore in the game and so many part one and two and part 3 of different books it would be great if all of that stuff could be put in order other than manually moving it all. Im pretty sure it could be done but not sure how much work it would take to do it. I absolutely love the game btw! Just a suggestion I thought I would contribute...any thoughts? (Oh I have not got the library built yet..one more day, so I have yet to see how it functions)

Physical Box Ship Date?
Byeohazard replied to theADOLESCENT's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
Whereas my account order list mentions: I don't want to open the box until I'm home, but are these bolded items supposed to be inside the box? Ser Daniel Fortesque's photo earlier in the thread has the collector's book outside a seemingly unopened box, so I would assume it would be a separate article on the receipt, but I want to get my facts straight before I contact support. I'm also missing the mousepad despite it being on the receipt, though that's probably Canuckistan customs dropping the ball yet again. looks like other items are in the box.....I think. I have not cracked mine open though but this appears to show what's inside. http://imgur.com/a/AfQjl#CppH4Ln -
The Gamespot review
Byeohazard replied to sim-h's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
Back in the late 90's early mid 2000's Gamespot use to be my go to review site. I rarely visit any longer. If I were to compare it to a city these days Las Vegas comes to mind. -
I am on my first play through with my original character which is a monk. Perhaps it is because I am no expert or just don't know any better but I am really having a good time. The stats on my monk as far as damage and kills etc are the highest in my party...again, I am far from an expert with setting up characters and classes etc ( I may even be called sloppy)...all I know is I am having fun.

Bioware Cookies!
Byeohazard replied to TheisEjsing's topic in Pillars of Eternity: General Discussion (NO SPOILERS)
I think it is a great gesture. The industry as a whole does better when it props each other up (the microbrew industry in S.California and probably elsewhere is a great example of this) and who knows....perhaps Obsidian, Larian and inXile helped pave a way for companies such as Bioware to get back their roots and we can see more of these great RPG's in the future. -
I remember back in the day I had the Fallout 2 car bug.....I followed progress on the Fallout 2 web page every day looking for news so I could resume playing with a new save (it wasn't going to be a retroactive patch)..I love that game so much still. I recall the patch got delayed often (from my current old geezer memory).

Mine is far more washed out and fuzzy looking than that. Don't get me wrong, some of that's my camera, but mine still looks like a defective run if that's what they're supposed to look like. WOW! That's quite a difference!!! Looks like yours was printed as the machine was low on ink and they just kept going!
