I lean ever so slightly to option 2 as I am a collector like Threeson and gatt9 with games since the late 90's and onward.....back when Electronics Boutique use to rock with multitudes of glorious pc games spread from wall to wall.......ah the memories! The opt in approach suggested by gatt9 seems like a prudent idea if it is able to be effected. The folks that do not opt a choice receive an option at Obsidians discretion.

Well I checked my calendar and it's not April 1st...so throw that theory out the window.

It sure looks to be shaping up nicely! Looking foreward to playing! I guess I am one of the oddballs that was looking foreward to the dvd release (probably because I am a geezer...I still like a paperback vs my kindle) but a good call to include complete footage and offer an alternative goody! I'm good with that!

I was wondering if Obsidian will be using backer names from the Kickstarter Campaign or from the registration on the Obsidian forums. I noticed I only have Byeohazard for the forums and failed to include my real name (can not seem to add it to my profile..is there a way)? I don't recall Obsidian asked what name to use. It's not a vital bit of importance but would be nice to know. Thanks in advance!

I pledged for the collectors edition( boxed) on kickstarter. The reward list a DVD/ blueray dvd making of PE on the kickstarter page yet the backer page it lists it as a download, Did something change? Thanks in advance.

Looks like mine are missing (Both the K and silver VIP Project Eternity badge).

Generally people will keep quiet if they were one of the large backers as it may be seen as ostentatious to say "hey everybody I'm one of the 10k backers, look at me " LOL, I thought they would get some sort of in game mention like getting their names highlighted in gold font in the credits or designing a character or weapon for the game.

Does it come from well known game celebs and folks that generally support themselves in the industry or from the general populace that loves to game? 10k and 5K to me seems like a ton of money to put down on a chance to see a game come to friuition...even one with great promise (in my view) such as this one.

Just want o make sure I have not missed an email from Kickstarter or Obsidian...I have not heard much in terms of Obsidian asking for addresses to deliver to, forum badges etc. I do know that a fullfilment system is in the works or I may have missed an announcement on it's implementation. Any news on the fullfiment system?

Now that the project is funded is there any more word on how the badges will work?

I may be interested in doing this. Is the kickstarter user name the same as where it asks you to enter your full name when registering? I have my real name registered there. Should I change it to Byeohazard in order to get the unique Obsidian Order title that is to be issued to me if I pledge the additional 8 bucks? Or can I leave it as is (maybe title is linked to email)? Just curious how it works. Thanks!

Trashman,I am not sure what an E-Peen extension is. I am all ears if you wish to edumicate me. I imagine that these badges will be avaialble once the game is funded? Do we need to log in with our kickstarter information? I am still pretty unclear how this works. I looked at the Kickstarter page to try to gleen more information on this.

48 just around the corner...I'll take second prize! So many great games...but if I was going to point to one game that got me hooked and will always be numero uno....Fallout. Still have the original packaging, manual, inserts etc.....did that with all my games! All theBalders Gate games , Planescape..Icewind Dale1&2 are also on my faves list amonth others...Black Isle rocked back in the day!

Are they exclusive to folks that have backed the game and register with the Obsidian forums? I registered but have not as of yet found a list of backer Avatars. Thanks for the info!
