  1. Latest news: Hamas asks for 4 reasonable things; a larger fishing zone for palestinians (since their tiny zone is almost empty of fish), re-building of the gaza airport and allowing more trade across the borders - all are rather vital for the development and growth of gaza. Something you might call a bare civilized minimum. Israel naturally sez no. b.t.w. - those of you saying how evil Hamas is for fighting from Gaza (which will inmevitably lead to civilian casualties) - where else are they supposed to fight from? Gaza is one of the most densely populated areas on earth. It's not like they can invade Israel and fight on their territory.
  2. But 'cause it's in cartoon form it must be fiction? HA!

  4. As far as I'm concerned, the Israel government and military is as much extremist and terrorist as Hamas is. Hamas doesn't care about Palestinians? Sez who? That's like saying Israel doesn't care about it's people because it didn't give back the land it took. In the mater of politics, everything is a numbers game.
  5. They should improve the ballistic shield. Or conduct proper surgical strikes. Or you know... lift the blockade of Gaza. Fine, but then we must also blame every single voter in Israel. Let's not forget how exactly Israel was formed and what the origins of it's leadership is (terrorists)
  6. Sadly, it looks like you are the one who doesn't understand. Israeli leaders do not care? Well color my jimmies and call me King Reginald, who could have thought that? Atrocities tend to happen because people don't care. Morality and political actions have little in common.
  7. TrashMan observes that he doesn't care if you think I'm "legitimizing" something. Apparently, for you understanding something equals endorsement, Everyone does. Terrorists or not. It's is never completely true, but in some cases it is more true than others.
  8. Don't put words in my mouth. I'm not legitimizing nothing. I said I understand why people resort to such actions. That means just that an nothing more. And yet it's only use by those with not enough might to fight a real war. Not even a gerilla one - which would be what you're thinking about and a smart choice. But problem is when you can't make any meaningful dent on the enemy military. I do not speak of morality, but on the conditions that cause people to take up terrorism.
  9. Not my dog, but this is how my visit looks:
  10. Except Gromnir, your context is crap. You cannot compare a bunch of disgruntled, desperate, stupid people with limited support and technical cababilities with a formal, well-equipped, modern military of a "democratic" government (that ignores every UN resolution never) You said it yourself that hamas doesn't have the ability to fire those rockets accurately. The ways in which hamas can fight, given Israels security and military might, is very limited indeed. Terrorism is generally NOT the first choice of action for people. Israels behavior and policies are a breeding ground for desperate people with a desire to strike back. But no reals means to do so. Israel is keeping the Gaza strip a miserable place, by bombing it to stone age periodically. Or did you fail to notice how civilian infrastructure (power, water, factories, roads) seem to take the biggest hit in each "intervention"?
  11. Out of context, everything is.
  12. False. What you claim is a fallacy. No on is forcing Israel to bomb houses. To claim tis' the ONLY outcome and that someone else is responsible for you pulling the trigger is nothing more than guilt projection. "You made me do it" is the worst argument when it's clear that you didn't really have to do it. Are you honestly claiming that bombing the area the rocket came from the the ONLY reasonable response one can take? Really? By using THAT logic Isreal FORCED those people to shoot the rockets. Wanna go further down the guilt chain? Also, palestinans are not Hamas.
  13. 1. Nope. I'm not. No justification. Period. 2. Are you implying the only way for Isreal to do anything is to bomb the living s*** out of innocent civilians? There is a such a thing as an "appropriate response". Isreal is already shooting down about 99% of rockets coming their way. THAT is the definition of doing something. Their "strategy" (if you can call it that) is insane and not working.
  14. This being an Obsidian game though, one of those old souls will have to be railing against its confinement, crying out for release and asking the protagonist to break the blade asunder. I served righteously throughout life, now let me have my promised rest etcetera. Edit: Indeed what if in other religions the blade is a weapon of evil, standing between souls and their rebirth on the wheel. Be a nice little perplexing situation. 1: I said a SMALL PART of his soul. 2. For a TRUE paladin, not even in death does duty end.
  15. On one side you have poeple living in luxury (after taking every good pice of land with resources). They have to live with the horror of knowing that maybe, one day, one crappy, home-made rocket may fall somewhere near their house (if it ever gets that far). How many people have actually been killed by those rockets? You have a higher chance to be struck by lightning! On other hands you have people that are oppressed, systematicly (periodically) bombed into stone age and fear of getting shot/killed/bulldozed and bombed every day. If I was israeli and lived in Israel, I wouldn't worry much. If I lived in Gaza, I'd want to burn Israel down too. And I'm saying this as someone who experienced war and knows how it feels to be in a city under siege. All this BS "justification" Israel provides is just that that - a metric ton of crap that doesn't hold water. There is NO justification EVER for walzing into another country and blowing apart civilian structures (civilians included) and infrastructure.
  16. I used to own a pudle. Temperamental little balls of fury. Incredibly smart. At 16 he was still spry and lively. Got attacked by a huge dog that bit part of it's back off. He survived and moved on like nothing happened. Till an inoperable brain tumor hit. The little fella was tough as nails, the vet had to give him two injection. He couldn't believe it, as a single one should have downed a far larger dog. I miss him... I love dogs. Every time I see one I have an urge to pet him. That's why every single dog in my town knows me. I'm something of a local dog whisperer.
