  1. I reported this a while ago: http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/69936-392-iconic-projection-has-wonky-combat-log-entries/ Bump, I guess. Also this one: http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/69939-392-bug-with-iconic-projection-targeting-fog-of-war-and-walls/ And in this version, the damage values for Iconic Projection aren't being displayed in the combat log.
  2. Spells that say "Foe only AoE" in the description do not cause friendly fire.
  3. present in v435 (and no doubt probably noticed internally too).
  4. Base Concentration is 50 for all units AFAIK. So it's 50 * (1 + [{(Resolve - 10) * 6}/100]) 15 Resolve - 10 = 5. 5 * 6 = 30% 30% of 50 = 15 Concentration = 65
  5. As stated before, Bonus Interrupt should grant you a percentage of the base attack value. Currently it's giving an integer value instead. That 112 Interrupt should be 68.8 The wiki has out of date information and Perception and Resolve now grant +6% to Interrupt/Concentration per Attribute point. When they fix it though, I don't think High Perception builds will be that fantastic, particularly due to the fact that you no longer get Accuracy bonuses from Attributes and it's now easier to miss and harder to crit - which means less interrupts. I'm going to try it, but I fear it will be abysmal compared to Might, Dex or Int because the result is so closely tied to attack resolution. If it sucks, they could probably try something like Perception granting +1 Accuracy and +3-5% Interrupt. That way you can't get a super huge bonus Accuracy (+16 @ 18 was too high) and it would be fair to leave Perception at any value - as Maxmimum Perception will not necessarily be better than Might or Dexterity for DPS purposes, and the Bonus Accuracy will make you better at interrupting too. I think Concentration with +2 Deflection and +3-6% Concentration would be fair, because Deflection is only one type of defense. Accuracy hits all of them.
  6. I'm not jumping up and down. I made a thread a while back asking for gems instead of flaps, symmetry and modularity. I got those three things. The Combat Log could be better handled and it definitely could be more decorative but my understanding has been that it was never going to be anything more than just a solid backing for the current UI. If I go asking for a centered combat log, L shaped UI or vertical portrait bar - I'm not gonna get those things. There have been quite a few minor general improvements to their other UI screens, asking for a complete change because I don't like the UI style they used is also going to fall on deaf ears - especially two months before the release date.
  7. Yo man - try holding TAB and pressing the icon - I have the same issue with the hidden entrance to the Dyrford Ruins, but holding TAB makes the transition icon persist, so you can click on it. I am using the Windows version FYI.
  8. The frightening bit was that they were saying this was the best system so far ... but it's not even working properly?
  9. Well the game used to remember the difficulty you had it set to upon exit, now it no longer does.
  10. I think so, theoretically the character with the higher dexterity should make faster swings and have a shorter recovery. I will give it a shot now. edit: You're right, when attacking with weapons - higher Dexterity does indeed slow recovery time rather than make it faster.
  11. Max Intellect Barbarian is definitely an effective build. That extra Carnage AoE goes a long way. To get the most of it though, you need to dual wield and attack quickly so you get more carnage hits more often. Coupled with Two Weapon Fighting it's pretty beast. A bit too effective in this build due to the broken Interrupt though, heh. A hit pretty much guarantees an interrupt if you put Perception at like 15+ One thing I did to augment that though was use Rizetti's Thorn and an Enchanted Sword (Corrode Lash or something), the lash enchantments make a huge difference as far as DPS goes, because they scale with your damage roll & attack resolution. Oh yeah ... I am a Hearth Orlan, and that also makes a LARGE difference as to character efficacy.
  12. Dexterity works on spells, I tried a PC Wizard with 10 Dex and the BB Wizard with 19? Dex - BB Wizard has shorter cast time and shorter recovery time
  13. Auras are not pre-buffs, they are auras.
  14. After using it, I think a transparent combat log probably isn't a good idea because when you make it larger than the Combat HUD (which I do, every time) it doesn't look that great
  15. I think this "bug" has been present all the way through, but the Feral Druid group in Stormwall Gorge on Hard do not drop all of their gear. They are equipped with Fine Hide Armor, Hoods and they have weapon sets - all of which they do not drop.
  16. Anyone else notice that the Loading screen pictures are like way worse quality? Like they're using jpegs instead of bitmaps or something. Mine are horribly distorted.
  17. No, it has an animation time and you can't initiate combat yourself and get the bonuses (which is the annoying bit - if I do a Sneak Attack as a Rogue from Stealth out of combat, I don't get the Reckless Assault bonus - which is a load of Bollocks).
  18. Yes 435 has the solid ui. You have to enable it though.
  19. The location of the VO that is played in the Character Creation seems to play from the position of the character in the game world. In the BB that is on the left of screen, so the sound only comes through the left channel. Expected Result: VO should play from the middle/both channels.
  20. I refuse to install any mouse drivers of any kind so I don't have that option.
