  1. Good thing about my new 'game' is that it offers near unlimited storage capacity(a very nice cellar that I would have immediately turned into a game room if it had heating/cooling system). On other news: I am back to playing Skyward Sword. After 20 hours it is still a very entertaining and refreshing game and boy, is this game long! I think I have some 15-20 hours until I reach the games finale. Planning on finishing The Minish Cap after that and hopefully by that time I'll have enough money to buy a Nintendo Switch + Breath of the Wild.
  2. What I disliked about ME3 were the side-quests. You're just passing by and minding your own business and suddenly some character spouts out a few lines and a new side-quest is automatically added to your journal. Sometimes I didn't even get to see who gave me the side-quest, leaving me scratching my head and looking all over the galaxy for the dude/gal who gave me the quest. What I liked about it was their co-operation with DICE in order to get better sounds for the weapons, something I wish Rockstar would do, because there ain't a single GTA game out there where the guns don't sound like a water pistol. The Saints Row series on the other hand always got this right, the guns simply sound bad ass, especially in Saints Row 2.
  3. Playing the 'Moving My Stuff To A New House' game. The matchmaking was awful but I finally got to find a game.
  4. Why do I keep reading 'Steam or gag!!!'?
  5. I like building settlements, too. I am building a bar in Sanctuary Hills right now and once I have plated the game, I'll look for a mod that lets me kill Mamma Murphy...
  6. If you go in for the story and characters, you'll be disappointed. Everything else is pretty neat though. Like many people, I initially hated the game, but then I realized how fun and challenging the gameplay can be at times.
  7. I enjoyed Uncharted 3 the most. Still haven't played The Lost Legacy but I heard that the gameplay burrows a few things from MGS V which should be a good thing, but I'll be sure to play Quantum Break on the Xbox before I try TLL. Remedy doesn't disappoint.
  8. Why are you posting those pics in the news thread, that's otter madness!
  9. I'll raise a glass to this.
  10. I don't mind good stuff floating to the surface eventually, I just hate it when games disappear from Steam. Why introduce Descent 1, 2, 3 only to have them removed a year later? I understand that there can be legal issues from time to time but shouldn't a big company such as Valve be able to find a certain solution for such problems? Neverwinter Nights 2 Wolfenstein 2009 game The original Prey and a whole lot more... Worst part is, once these games disappear from the store, the support for them disappears as well, even if you happen to already own them. So if it's a multiplayer game you can pretty much kiss it goodbye or start looking for workaround tactics...
  11. Yeah, same here. I wanted to order Wolfenstein 2 yesterday but as soon as I call back to the shop, someone else has already bought the last copy.
  12. GabeN reminds me of Richard Grey: he used to be a human but now only god knows what he is.
  13. I'm going to order Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus for the Xbox One X. Best version of the game from what I've heard(on consoles). I'll be getting a 4K OLED TV next month so it'll be interesting to see how the game looks like at native 4K @ 60fps.
  14. While playing Fallout 4 today, I realized that the Museum of Witchcraft quest has been one of the better parts of the game so far, even if it's incredibly dumb to have to...
  15. There's actually not nearly as many trash mobs in White March than in the original campaign - which doesn't mean they're not there, just that the base game was really bad with its encounter design and White March improved upon it quite a bit. Not to mention it telling a pretty epic story in itself, significantly furthering lore of the game, adding brand new class of items to use with their own stories to uncover, and then there's three new companions, filling the gaps left by the original ones. Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls does a whole lot more than that and it's only 13.50.
  16. Decided not to get The White March. It looks interesting and I don't mind having a hail of trash-mobs thrown at me, but not for 15 bucks... I am just having my fun with the vanilla game. Note to self: buy PoE II once the complete edition is out.
  17. It's currently 40% off so I'll just buy it.
  18. The Illuminati are making their own console:
  19. Back to Pillars of Eternity. I am at the... ..and I got rid of the mobs but not before Durance and two other allies where knocked out. I am playing on the normal difficulty setting and while it did feel tedious at first, now the combat is actually a whole lot of fun. Your options don't feel that varied but depending on where and when you use a character you can still use a lot of tactics. I also like how mages have a whole lot of options to choose from. It makes them feel unique compared to other classes. I am torn between continuing my current playthrough and starting a new one. One thing is for sure though, if I start a new one the difficulty setting will stay on normal, it just feels right for me and the extra bit of challenge and tactics always helps me to calm down. I focus on the game more than the average shooter and it makes me burn some sugar, good for my diabetes 2. The story is the problem right now, I've forgotten most of it and I think starting a new playthrough will help me to recall the story and understand it better this tie around. BUT... ...should I buy The White March expansion?! Dang...I'm starting to like this game again. Last night I casted a lightning bolt with Aloth and it made one of those flesh golems explode like a...*cough* *cough*,,,Blood Sausage®.
