  1. MGS V didn't have any of those which made Snake look like a mute.
  2. They have produced great SP games alright. Dishonored, Wolfenstein, Prey, Fallout... They used to be a developer I disliked in the past for being such a huge Fallout snob but I just loved what they did in 2017 and the Fallout games they produced weren't the worst rpg's I have played in my life.
  3. Wrong post. Sorry. delete please
  4. The trailer gives me some weird P.T/Silent Hill vibe. No.
  5. In the far future, the Large Hadron Collider has exploded... The end.
  6. So it's called 'Shadows Die twice'? New IP! You have to play Mario Odyssey at some point in your life so no worries.

  10. Shadows of the Damned is a good example of what EA can do: Shadows of the Damned took 3 years to make and the game design had gone through significant changes (five design drafts in total). Originally, Garcia was going to start out shirtless and without a gun. From there, he would gradually acquire weapons along the way and purchase clothes at stores within the game. However, Grasshopper was pressured by EA to have Garcia start with a gun because, "westerners are about guns." In addition, Paula was originally designed as a little girl living in Garcia's gun and would hop around like a rabbit or flutter like a butterfly when her ability is needed; and this would lead to a prominent love story. Again, EA had these features removed because they did not understand the concept. EA informed Grasshopper that, "there's this thing called an elevator pitch in America, and if you can't tell your story in the length of an elevator ride, Hollywood won't use it." This forced Suda to completely scrap all of his initial ideas and had Johnson the talking Skull replaced Paula, and make the game a fairy tale like Lupin III's The Castle of Cagliostro or Princess Peach and Mario. In July 17, 2012, Mikami expressed his dissatisfaction with the game stating that both he and Suda were disappointed with the end product. "[shadows of The Damned] became a completely different game. That was a bit disappointing. I think Suda was unable to create the scenario he'd originally had in his head, and he rewrote the scenario several times. I think his heart was broken. He's such a unique creator, so it seems to me that he was not quite comfortable with making this game." — Shinji Mikami
  11. Bought for the Xbox during the black friday digital sales for 5 bucks. Might as well download it today and give it a whirl while I still have internet.

  14. Same here, played the demo but never played the full game. Yesterday, while playing Fallout 4, I came across this deathclaw which I was ready to shoot but then I noticed that she had already detected me and was't attacking. Indeed she had no intent on harming me unlike other deathclaws, then I realized... That was a pretty awesome moment in Fallout 4 right there.
  15. ^ Is Xenoblade Chronicles 2 too ambitious for Switch's mobile mode? (Eurogamer.net) Oh well, one more reason for me to delay a Nintendo Switch purchase.
  16. Yeah, it's hands down head and shoulders above any of the Fable games. More freedom in pretty much everything. Every Fable game I have played looks very promising at first but grows stale rather quickly. I was surprised that Fable 2 was no exception. At first I was so excited with all the pretty scenery but after a few hours I realized how linear the game can be at times. There is definitely some fun to be had there but not much freedom. The choices are rather...*uhum*...Black & White.
  17. kingdom of amular was fun, had good wow mmo combat. the first lord of shadow is pretty good, havent tried the second one. ive heard good things about dragon's dogma Kingdoms of Amalur was good fun but it's another one of those games where I wish it had co-op.
  18. But hey, not all hope is lost:

  20. From what I gather, they must be unappealing to you. I for one don't understand what you mean by 'Link's design'. He doesn't look better or worse than any other Zelda game where a mature Link is portrayed. Also, wasn't Link always supposed to be some sort of avatar that connects the player to the game world? Never expected him to have a specific personality.
  21. Skyward Sword I've spent 23 hours playing the game and currently I'm... Absolutely loving this game. Next to Majora's Mask, it might very well be one of the best Zelda games I've ever played. Everything is just put together so well, the gameplay, the exploration, the story and how it expands the lore in the Zelda universe... A must play for every Zelda fan. It might be a little hard to get your hands on it though since it's only available on the Wii and the Wii U.
  22. It's from the same team that made Life is Strange, eh?! It looks very promising.
  23. Try Dragon Quest Builders. Every PS4/PS3/PSVita owner should try that game.
